Bitcoin value right now is high but i think that in will just like the recent movements where the price will go down again and it will shake the hand of the weak holders and they will just lose money with their moves or actions that they were going to do. So if you are really valuing bitcoin that much then it doesn't matter if it goes down hard because we all know that the only way at the end is all the way up.
Prices will always change and will never stabilize. Digital currencies are heavily influenced by demand factors so that as more people use bitcoin the price will increase and as fewer people need bitcoin the bitcoin will decrease. It is a normal thing happens, oh yes various positive and negative news will very easily affect the price of bitcoin globally.

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
Bitcoin value it changes everytime it is not permanent nit like a paper money it's value is permanent and stable
I strongly agree to that opinion, we all know that the price of bitcoin is not permanent and its because of the fluctuations of supply and demand on online market. In addition to that, every time the price of bitcoin is change and its because of being volatile where the price of bitcoin is not stable and it always change.

BIG WINNER!

People agree to its value because there is value indeed because it is decentralized and independent from any third party interference a great innovation that is equal to the invention of the internet and about price plummeting, its been here since day one, and only newbies are in a panic.

This statement is quite logical, since if people think something is valuable, then it should grow in price. And while people value bitcoins and invest in it, it will continue to grow.

It's worthy. Bitcoin is must have currency in every experienced investor's wallet. Crypocurriency market is based ob bitcoin. All altcoins are pared with bitcoin. Even if you are sceptical of bitcoin and you have to buy altf first of all you need to buy bitcoin (in most situations). That makes him most usefull coin on market at this moment.

Bitcoin also is making all altocoin price. Yea. Thats why "altcoin prices imitate bitcoin move on market". Take a look at one of your altcoins. 80-95% of its volume is pared with bitcoin. So if bitcoin price drops your alt have to drop too cous in 80-95% it price is dedicated by bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency in today's date.It is very expensive and not everyone can buy it.When the prices are low people think of buying it then only.Bitcoin value is very volatile and we do not know when will the price of Bitcoin rise or fall. All the other altoins and cryptocurrencies are regulated with respect to Bitcoin only.Bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the best option for investment purposes as it gives use amount of profit returns.

That's only because people believe, that it has a value. BTC is a great archetype of cryptocurrencies, but future are alt coins with real value in some form. I can give you an example. Nebula Network is a decentralized storage cloud with emission mechanism tied to their supply. That means it is not minned, but has a solid backing in computational power and disc space. Due to this fact, its rate of exchange will be rock stable and separated from Bitcoin. It's worth to read some about this project on their site, I thing there will be more coins like this one soon.

Since bitcoin moves according to demand in the market, with we do bitcoin buying, then we are bitcoin proponents so bitcoin can have good value. Bitcoin continues to float, until bitcoin becomes a very valuable asset and very worthy to own and hold for the long term.

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

it is true but also misleading because it is incomplete.
people don't just randomly decide bitcoin has value. it has some fundamental reasons. otherwise a lot of other things like grain of salt would have also been worth $20000 for example!
it is the utility of bitcoin that gives people a reason to give bitcoin a value. it is the fact that bitcoin is a decentralized and censorship resistance currency that makes them want to buy more of it (creates demand) and that demand increases its price.

Totally agree with your explanation, but do you think censorship resistance currency will always make peoples to buy more while it has also some issues like,we can't stop transactions once made on the block chain.

the value of the bitcoin is very variable and is given by the market (demand and supply) then by the exchange / exchange volume and will never be stable

Like most fiat currency, the fundamental reason that fiat currency has value is that people trust to the value set to it by their respective central banks. The only difference is bitcoin is limited and fiat currency is not, they can print more money however they want to base on their inflation rate. They can't overprint money and they can't overly deflate it.

Hi there the maker! Most of the value of stocks are even price on that way. It is not just for bitcoin, that is how stock market works, people who buy and sell stocks are the one who generate the factor to make the price goes up or goes down. Even the company it self have no direct control of the price. Look at nasdq, stocks price of amazon, tesla, apple and even nvidia among others.

As for its value - this is not the main reason for its cost and popularity. Bitcoin has good technology, speed, anonymity, cheap transactions.

bitcoin prices are naturally always on the move and always have that price change because bitcoin has a very limited supply and has a very high demand bitcoin can be made for some payment methods that make bitcoin has value.

In as much as we would lime bitcoin to let bitcoin's price to become stable,  it is bego d e eryone's control as bitcoin is volatile and price varies from time to time. I do agree that what makes it to have a value because people had accepted bitcoin to have a value and more people are supporting btc by putting up their investment in it.

It's true. Fundamental reason why gold has value is because people agree that it has a value. One of the biggest problems today is that people know the price of everything, but they don't know their real value. What determine the price? How much money you have, how much money you plan to print every year, distribution, total supply, burning process, so many things determine value of a single currency. Why bitcoin is special from fiat currencies? Its technology with already regulated supply, with already determined total supply.
I likes John Oliver in the beginning, now he is boring like all others. He actually doesn't do anything except he criticize and laugh, he have his target's and I feel sorry for some people that he choose to laugh.

Aside from the benefits and advantages of the bitcoin. The bitcoin value is unpredictable or volatile we really dont know when will it rise or fall. The supply and demand affects the bitcoin price.
