Even the unschooled have heard about Bitcoin and in this way, more people get to know about Bitcoin through the testimonies of its investors. As such, the demand for Bitcoin increases each time and with the limited supply, it tends to gain much value on the market.

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

 " like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.

Yes, that's true, We people give value to a thing if we knew we can benefit the use of it. That's like bitcoin, we give him a true value because it offers us a good benefit, it practically offers economic liberty to the people, we believe it has a future that is why, what he became now.

Yes, the value of bitcoin is quite relative, but once people decided to measure wealth with gold. Or securities. And now there is bitcoin.

Ofcourse the bitcoin has the value as it deserve because the people are investing it. And for that they are getting their profits. But the value of the Bitcoin never been the sme it fluctuates with time. Two years back the Bitcoin had the value of almost 700 or 800 dollars but now it has the value equal to 8000 or 9000 dollars and still rising and it will rise as the people of the bitcoin predicted it.

Just the big players are playing the market that is why it rising and going down withe time. So it has the value and it will always has the value equal to gold.

The bitcoin value will keep changing every day as with other currencies have different values because everyone agrees with supply and demand. That is a good thing because currency can be a good investment place. As we know Bitcoin value experienced a high increase in value every day but it could be down as an opportunity to buy and then sell at high prices.

Bitcoin will have more value if many people follow it because the number of people will determine the high price, therefore many foreign investors are using bitcoin because they can determine the price increase as well.
