well i think that this indicates the popularity of bitcoin as much people love it the value of bitcoin will increases.The reduction in prices is normal and the value of bitcoin is currently down lower than last year but bitcoin can still rise again because bitcoin is still believed to be the main currency in the crypto and Bitcoin becomes valuable because of the benefits and advantage it has. But the value of bitcoin are like a bubble sometimes it will rise or fall but the factor that makes the bitcoin valuable is the market demand and supply

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

 " like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.

I completely agree with this that bitcoin has value because people thinks bitcoin has value. Bitcoin is very sustainable and valuable asset and bitcoin has made people believe that bitcoin has something that people should invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin has always proved its potential by providing employment to millions of people and those countries introduced it and legalise it in their nation , bitcoin has increased the GDP so bitcoin has always proved its worth and its value that people could trust.

The market value of bitcoin as of this moment is quite too low. I think as a investors we should do HODL.
Learn to wait because if we sell the bitcoin at that price we will incurred loss and that thing is not good, if we wait more we can incurred income which is we wanted .

It is the right thing to do with bitcoin, if you want to earn something. Holding and transfer into other is a good way.

It is normal to see that the price of the bitcoin is always changing because all of the cryptocurrencies have the characteristics of being volatile. It not only depend upon investor but includes various other factors like global economy decision taken by some country against the bitcoin can directly impact the price. Various scam that happens due to which some of the exchanges gets hacked it results into the price fall etc.

i agree with that statement, when the price of bitcoin is under $10000 its mean that people in the world is agree that bitcoin have the value no more than $10000, but if people dont agree with this i think it will makes rise up or going down until people agree with that price

Ultimately, everything has value because people agree so. The same is true for fiat. In reality fiat is only a piece of paper and we all agree it has value. The only difference between fiat and btc is who backs what. What scares people the most is that btc has no issuing authority. They feel unprotected using it. But so far btc has proven itself to be formidable.

I think what John Oliver has to say is true, Bitcoin has value because people believe that bitcoin deserves to be bought (at value). These people's beliefs are based on something obvious that is the function of bitcoin in lieu of paper money in the future as an easier and faster exchange rate for every payment transaction.

Bitcoin is more valuable in our days than gold. Bitcoin has grown in so much percentage that it has been in the last 2 years. The knowledge and the use is more important than just the price, it is then called the value. Its changing businesses and more ways to reach its users globally.
