It is very difficult to predict bitcoin prices, I think we should be more patient and wait for bitcoin prices to rise. And now is the right time to buy bitcoin or altcoin whose price is unstable.

Bitcoin value is not permanent it goes up and down. I believe the people in the cryptocurrency community are actually the ones put value on bitcoin. In Bitcoin people can use the token to transfer value globally, because the token has a perceived value that are determined by supply and demand on a open market. Day by day Bitcoin increase his value. I hope that bitcoin will probably increase to $ 50,000 in 2019.

Please don't watch John Oliver anymore, especially when he talks about crypto  Grin The dude is speaking out of his a*s and IMHO all this mainstream media is 1 big pile of sh*t. Bitcoin is a whales playground and they are the ones who decide if they're going to bring it up again or keep it down so all panicked newbies will dump their BTC and it will land in the whales pockets in the end. I seriously believe that there will be another crazy bull-run coming before the end of 2018 and you will see how people will regain their trust into Bitcoin.

Opinions vary on this however from the establishment of bitcoin and the rise of the cryptocurrency market in 2009, in a matter of 9 years the cryptocurrency market has grown to a market capitalization of nearly 300 billion USD, which is greater than the gross domestic product of many countries so it's going in the direction to be a global currency.

It does have a value, but a very volatile one. People have been using it for a long time now and its value inflated throughout the years.

But to answer your question, yes, people made the worth of bitcoin's value possible.

The value of bitcoin will keep appreciating as far as there are more people adopting it. The fact that it operates on a decentralized platforms makes it more valuable.
Yeah right, what you're saying is that bitcoin values will continue to strengthen as far as people who adopt them so that bitcoin will find a high price and many people will use it.

Bitcoin's value, it is very important to us to know what it's value. If we will go on the bitcoin's price yes it's unstable because price depends on the society who buy and sell the bitcoin. Bitcoin price moves upward or downward every seconds but we can only determine the lower or higher one which will be visible to us to see. Bitcoin's value is the population of peoples who uses this because the more it's the more the bitcoin having a better value.

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
bitcoin is very valuable even if the price is unstable sometimes up and sometimes down basically the bitcoin is fluctuating, as long as people appreciate it or like it then he will remain valuable and if it all changes then the bitcoin no longer has the price.

which I understand from the word "because people approve it" is the one receiving when the price goes up and they all sell it, it should still buy at that moment. and they all re-buy when the price goes down. meaning that people accept all the prices that occur in bitcoin.

Everyone considers Bitcoin valuable, so Bitcoin is valuable. It's weighed down by what Bitcoin brings to the user and the trust

It is not because that Mr. John Oliver said it that way the we think there was a kind of manipulation or something. It still has a basis though the possibility of price manipulation might be possible. Have you not realized the same with the paper money? Isn't it just a paper and we agree that there is such a value on it? This is just the same kind of thing you may not have thought about. But of course unlike virtual currency that is losely based on supply and demand, paper money is based on the governments resources in general that backed it up. Virtual currency is more of a commodity in comparison that rises up or down with supply and usability.
