There is no such thing as asic proof. There are already fpgas mining in the background, raven should change the algo soon with a hard fork to prevent fpgas.

There's another crypto attempting ProgPOW but it remains to be seen how legit they are, or how well it will go.  I'm wondering what's next for RavenCoin.  I'd like to see it grow and further fullfill the philosophies of decentralization.  Asset layer launches and the value and popularity goes up drastically perhaps...?

Since it is in early stages and development is going on by various independent developers as open source project. I will also consider it as experimental coin and picked up a reasonable amount having all this risks involved in mind. I have seen discussion somewhere about risk of 51% attack and after seeing tweet from official handle about it, I think why it was needed to be talked about specifically.

You made a very good point and i agree with you. I am also recently picked up a good amount of RVN, good that it is trading on Bittrex.

Been mining this coin off SINCE Feb(ish) and on and HODLing everyone I mine (I missed the early sweetspot of mining this coin back at ANN with ultra low diff).  Regardless with approx 60k of RVN in my pocket, I am confident this coin is going places.  Cant wait for mainnet to come online in late Oct

Question: My windows QT wallet is 5 days behind on 2 seperate computers. Tired just updating one to the most recent release but it still just says "unknown syncing headers(33947).  Any suggestions?   Thanks.
