Why altcoin is better than bitcoin?

Although Bitcoin has taken up 40% the coin market. But is it more worthy to invest in bitcoin? Since bitcoin can never replace the paper currency for the moment due to many complicated reasons, and most bitcoins are already acquired by a small sum of people. So if a kind of currency can't be circulated, what's the meaning of that coin. When it comes to ICO, and the release of altcoin, it means that you are investing in a company, you are holding equity in the company. If you think this company will have a bright future, it's always worthy to put your money in.

Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency with which you can buy altcoins, and so long this situation remains the same, it still makes sense to have part from your deposit invested in bitcoin.
Choosing promising startup to invest nowadays is a pure drama, where you can easily be scammed and left with worthless tokens in your wallet.
Promising startups do exist, but nobody can guarantee you that they will keep the development going and will become a success, on the other hand we have bitcoin who have been buried by mass media so many times, and still stands strong, among with its blockchain which has proven its stability during that time.

It is impossible to say what is better than altkoins or bitcoins, because this is purely a sub-judgmental proposition, everything has its pros and cons! Bitcoin gives you stability and reliability, and altcoins are fast growing, but more risk!

Bitcoin's the earliest coin in a launch the beginning means identical to the experiment. Well IMO, every single thing made the very first will naturally have problems as happened to bitcoin.

In my opinion, Altcoins are not  better than Bitcoin. Bitcoin was first cryptocurrency that was created and still it is successful. New Altcoins are launched every day and very often they disappear without a shadow.

Point 1. Bitcoin was the first Cryptocurrency out there - it's primary reason is/was clear
Point 2. All other coins / cryptocurrencies came after, each with it's own purpose (and let's be honest here, 90% of them are shit / scam)
Point 3. You can not compare Bitcoin to any other coin, if you don't specify the "BETTER HOW?". Better in name? Better in total coins? Better in how old it is?

If you're looking to day-trade, you may want to prefer Bitcoin.

If you're looking to gamble, you may prefer Altcoins

If you're looking to HODL, you may want both.

Long as you know what you're doing and what your goal is, there is a "better and worse" option out there for you.

Banks does not want crypto because they will loss clients if people will be more educated about crypto as 3rd party will no longer needed.
We are in the early stage, big challenges ahead but I believe crypto will have a good place in the future and adoption will grow.

I don't think any altcoin is better than bitcoin. Not even now. The coins we may be looking up to as the ones challenging Bitcoin's hegemonic influence include ETH, Neo, Ltc, Monero and so others. All of these are nothing compare to the tentacles Bitcoin have spread over regions. Its actually out of the league of every other coins.
