I think it depends on BTC. If the value of the difference exists, the current ETH and other currencies can not be made. If ETH exits the MOF, that can happen, but it does not have any element for ETH to do this. ETH has many interesting things. ETH can be practically applied in the future. In my opinion, despite the bearish and downward trend in the market right now of cryptocurrencies, I am still confident that ETH will bounce back big time at the end of the year. I still believe in the forecast of most that crypto will rise up again late of 2018. I just based this on the pattern of crypto from the many previous years.
