Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, bitcoin has great confidence in all crypto players. Although there are so many new coins today, I'm sure bitcoin will still top the thousands of coins that exist today.

The possibility is there, while I do not think it is going to happen you never know what it may happen, if another person creates something many times better than bitcoin and that the developers cannot replicate then it is possible we see that, but how likely is that? Very unlikely in my opinion.

So many predictions that bitcoin will certainly be outdated by another crypto. Until now I think it won't replace in the near future because bitcoin is still the strongest cryptocurency. Many users supporting it these days price low and high users exists.
the competition of digital currency is getting tighter so that many other types of coins are emerging aimed at defeating the popularity of bitcoin, but it all takes a long time for everyone to feel the benefits, bitcoin is the strongest crypto to date, not easy to shift the position of bitcoin because everyone already believe the type of digital coin that is very promising to serve as the best investment asset is bitcoin

Indeed, its hard to replace bitcoin as main investment in cryptomarket right now. Many exchanges using bitcoin as main pairs and thats make bitcoin demand always increasing. I am believe bitcoin still survive as primary coin in crypto

There's already another cryptocurrencies that have better features than bitcoin but none of them have beaten it until now in terms of market cap and adoption. Bitcoin already has a trust by many people in crypto as it's the first crypto that ever made and also the most used. Bitcoin also has proven sustainable even after facing a lot of fud. I think that's why many people still believe in bitcoin rather than the other cryptos.

I do not think it is possible for bitcoin to be replaced by another currency.  Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrencies and has such gained popularity among the people.  Another reason bitcoin can not be replaced is the fact that its price is the highest of all cryptocurrencies and such cannot be competed with.  It gives a lot of profits to investors and bitcoiner.
Bitcoin also has a lot of features that makes it impossible for it to be outdated.
Another thing is that even if many coins claim to be better than bitcoin that is not the case, in fact bitcoin is not outdated at all and it is one of the most advanced coins despite being the oldest coin so if no coin has been able to surpass bitcoin in 10 years what are the odds that a new coin can do that now? To me the odds are very low and that is why I'm not worried to hold my bitcoin for a long time.

I seriously doubt this. Bitcoin is like "gold range" of value compared to other currencies. The value of other coins and tokens is defined by it and I am sure that this won't be changed in the near future.

I can guess it. Today, some people state that Ethereum will become the leader. It can be because of hundreds new ICO appearing everyday! Big money!

I doubt if Bitcoin would be outdated or replaced by another currency due to the fact that it's the defector and most used cryptocurrency, it's market capitalization is massive and I don't see any contender to the number 1 spot.

There is no bad in having altcoins, but mostly of them depend on bitcoin's price, I guess. Once the price of the bitcoin goes down, most of it also goes down. It's only my opinion, and I also think that aside of etherium, there is no other altcoins by now that is morr popular than bitcoin. I did not say that eth is not good, but having bitcoin this long just means it is more used by crypto users. In the future, I am thinking that bitcoin is still in the market leading the crypto currencies.

Well yeah, but it doesn't change the fact that most people buy bitcoin to buy ethereum with bitcoin. That's why all the currencies depend on btc right now and cannot replace bitcoin.

Maybe someday a currency will take over bitcoin, or rather outdated it, some bitcoin is at its lowest point now and continue to decrease ,but for now lets hope that the price of bitcoin will come back to its place, we just need some patience and develop some good thoughts about his, creating some speculations that includes the downfall of bitcoin will not help it anyway.

This is potentially high. At present it is very good, but it has been created very long. So to compare technology, the bitcoin will not be equal to the new coin altcoins are developed in the market.

I suppose that this is possible, because of the simple reason. What develop next always become better than the thing that were being developed before. Like iPhone 6 is much better than iPhone 5.

It will be very difficult for another currency to outdate the Bitcoin considering the technology behind it which is the blockchain. Also, it is actually wrong when people see Bitcoin as a form of social activity which is mainly reserved for the youths or the younger adults rather than viewing it as a currency for all including the old.

Possibly, now as ETH or BCH, these two coin are thriving, maybe they will dominate the market, BTC will not be the king of cryptography, I think maybe it will take 5 more years, This will happen.

Probably not, because I think as for 10 years nobody have not developed nothing better than Bitcoin, even now, when blockchain gets far more developed than it was in 2009.

In my own opinion, there is a possibility that one of the atlcoins someday will be going to replace bitcoins because people are still interested on different types of cryptocurrency.

Well it is nice to find people with strong beliefs. This attitude is always good for business. Same for bitcoin since many are holding it post like this could just strengthen investors to keep on believing it and may not be freak out easily by nonsense FUDs. I am a believer too. For as long as bitcoin is able to influence the market then bitcoin rules. Only when other alts will behave extremely not related in terms of sales to bitcoin, that is the time maybe when I would say it is an altcoin era. For now it is way too far.
