Is it still in beta? Afaik, there is no windows version unless you build from source yourself and even then there are issues that people are having saying that it is not working fully as intended. Any news on when the bitshares network will open to full functionality?
All intermediate news you can find here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?board=3.0Community will be notified before public version will be available.

Reminder - Distribution on 31st May - Hold your PTS off-exchange There is is a distribution taking place for PTS holders The distribution date for LottoShares is at end of the day on May 31st. https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=4691.0It is vital that you hold your PTS in a private wallet so that you control the private keys at the end of this month. I will be trying to identify and remove balances held by exchanges, so they will not even be in a position to make a distribution of LottoShares. Please remove your PTS from exchanges immediately if you want to receive your shares in LottoShares. WOW! Pleasant surprize, wasn't expecting that. Are there more DACs coming?

But I'm still sort of clueless as to what exactly I can do with the original idea of the Bitshares network. That and PTS and Angelshares. PTS mining is pretty much in a dump because of the it's high difficulty now and that's getting worse because miners are moving due to the lack of profit.

I would say this is bullish not bearish... as no more miners to auto dump their PTS means any buying on exchanges is now going to be sustaining higher prices.

Interestingly enough PTS are not very expensive, something like 0.0070-0.0073 BTC/PTS . Not more than before those announcements. And the DNS one is pretty promising. No?

Actually, I think the Chinese community is pretty disappointed in the proposed DAC’s .Not in the DAC’s themselves but in the proposed inflationary model.

But PTS holders get quite a few... if they get 2 billion or whatnot... then thats what over 2000 coins per PTS? Its still pretty good gains at a decent price of a few hundred sats.

It has no mention of what a DAC is or what they are about to do. Is this being advertised. It's like you are keeping it a secret on purpose. Let me get this straight. If I buy a bitshare right now. I will get DACs that come out in the future automatically? And there are two planned to come out as of now, and another, lottoshares just did. It's like new coins come out in a way and the people that own bitshares are the ones who get them. Is this all correct? And if this is all true, are these lottoshares "separated" from bitshares yet, are they being traded?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=186785Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

Or if you purchased Angelshares earlier, even if you used them already, you'll have these DACs too!

If you hold BitShares PTS (formerly known as Protoshares) in your wallet 21th August
you will be given BitShares Vote and BitShares DNS.
When BitShares Vote and BitShares DNS launch, you import your BitShares PTS wallet's private key to receive your stake in each (instructions will be given). This means that you should retain control of the BitShares PTS wallet until Vote and DNS launches. This means that only the amount of BitShares PTS you held in your wallet at 21th of August will matter to how much stake you get in Vote and DNS. Also note that this means that BitShares PTS price will fall immediately after August 21th, as everyone who bought BitShares PTS just to get a stake in Vote and DNS will be free to sell their PTS. Also note that BTER and BTC38 will take snapshot of your PTS for you, to make it easier for users, https://bter.com/article/2278https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=6705.0More info on BitShares DNS here,

Basically the social contract behind BitShares PTS, formerly Protoshares was a way to fairly distribute new products. PTS provides a way for people to mine while AngelShares AGS on the other hand people could buy directly which also provided them with shares in new DAC's. No secrets here, just a nice way to FAIRLY distribute shares in new products.
