Exactly. Glad this hype (with no particular reason) hapened overnight so I sold out this morning.

you should check the fundamentals of this coin rather than thinking this coin is based in hype , its not even difficult if you just compare the price of verge on april 2017. And if you sold it this morning you are losing money already.

Thankfully I managed to avoid fundamentals of this coin on new year's eve  

If I bought something at 450 and sold at 900 I don't think it's losing money

btw good job with not updating explorer and announcing 45 min after announced block that you changed block number where will you fork. Just wondering why explorer wasn't working then?  

Couldn't you just pay someone to do the job in 20 min instead 2 days?

People are what they are, and i am not changing anything cause you clearly no nothing about this coin or crypto in general when you resume your fundamentals from 4 months ago when this coin has almost 4 years of existence and clearly growing every year. Regarding block explorer if its not working i would like to invite you on discord and come tell us what we are doing wrong and tell us how to fix it since you are putting so much effort in such simple thing, at this point you are just being ridiculous as clearly your intentions are just hating for whatever reason. Actually, If you had checked Github you would of seen it was stated for 2042000 a long time ago. You are too busy copy pasting the same stuff on every platform. If you don't like it go do something else. Something positive instead of spending all your time spreading negativity.

The attack is now going on for 4 days. If this ain't an inside job I don't know what is. You don't let something like this to go on for days without any serious intervention, unless you want to intentionally tank it or you are directly or indirectly profiting from the attack.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when this happens, no more rewards for the miners and coin that reaches maximum supply is going down like Titanic?

The supply that is left is going to take around 7 to 10 years to be mined still, and like any other coin that will reach to their cap the rewards for the miners will be the fees from the transactions. Plus if you understand how supply/demand works the more coins are in the market supplied by miners the more buyers you need to have in order to keep the price up now when you have new buyers but no more coins getting in the price will inflate and not  "down like Titanic" because now people are fighting for a limited number of available coins. Following your logic Ripple would be down the sink already as they have 3 times more coins in circulation than we do.

I'm not so confident that by forcing a algo change to n pastBlocks is the solution.. what will prevent the hacker from changing the algo if he wants to?
