Sorry guys, i am in a moment where I determined to stick to the bottom of the thread.
@the above, XVG is on top of "facts" ( well, it might be too subtle for many to digest ) rather than "marketing".
Verge dev is a badass who doesn't give many fks.

the deal isnt too bad considering its a privacy coin but the way the xvg team talked about it makes it bad
if they had not hyped it up it may have been better recieved by the general public.
i agree, without hype, annoucments and and and the deal itself is not that bad IF that is the path verge wants to take being a Porn coin. There are some questionmarks of course how this will be combined with age verification and how many tube users are indeed paid members there. I think the worst thing in this deal is the marketing campaign on mindgeeks pornsites, if indeed 5+ Million Dollars are used for that than its plain stupid the fact of xvg raising for this was dissapointing to many mostly females/older generation dont think porncoin is there aim but it is a big industry with ph having many subscribers younger people will have a good laugh and maybe even support xvg |

Even if it is connected with this news, Verge should make sure there are no vulnerabilities in their code. Whatever the news are, the relationship between some news and a hack is irrelevant. |

I don't agree with porn either. Looking at utility though, cryptocurrency is still fringe. You have greater adoption with the top 4 (BTC, LTC, ETH, and meh BCC), but try to get other altcoins adopted... I'm sure it is very difficult. I don't know how XVG did it, but it is good for the cryptospace. Porn is typically the first to adopt new technologies... so this is a good sign for crypto. I'm sure all the XVG hodlers are getting hard at the news. |
