In some cases, buying new coins that go to the exchange is very beneficial. But the most decisive factor here is the popularity of this project, as well as its usefulness.

Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to, so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
It was profitable some months ago, when the market was green. Today is kind of risky. Many of the coins at the time they are listed on the market are dumped. It is harder to make some profit now. Be careful

It depends on the quality of the project. Look at the majority of the projects: after the listing the price falls and can stay there for a long time. Rare project have growth from the beginning.
I would also wait for the dates of bounty distribution. Some tokens have low volume and bounty participants can dump even good project a lot, and you can buy much cheaper sometimes.

look at several factors, one of which is the marketcap of a coin, if the marketcap ( the amount rised in ICO is high) is big then the potential for profit is small, since it will be much harder to double than smaller marketcap coins. Just look at Docademic, it went to do x20 ROI, quite amazing. But it was so easy because the ICO was small.

Sincerely, with the recent happenings in the market, I would not encourage that now. I personally used to do it but I have changed. Most of the coins normally dump upon hitting the exchange. In fact, the dump below ICO price. This has been of great concern to me. So, I don't do that anymore.

Not always profitable, because coin that just listed in the market there are dont have any chart and history of price action, so we dont know which price is become support and resistance. Buy new listed coin i think wil be more risk but also promising higher reward, but if you understanding about purpose of the project and the team member consist of solid team, you will have bigger chance to make profit from that coin.

This market is totally unpredictable, you cant judge the coin actual price after couple of months. Its totally depends upon the actual quality of the product though new product with high price value and high profit is a rarely combination.

A lot of ICOs are currently below ICO levels. And I think they started out more expensive than ICO price.

I think its more advisable to buy the established coins and has already listed in the market in this way it is less risky and you don't need to think that your investments will loose. Buying new altcoins don't have the assurance of good profit.

I would have to say that this depends on the coin itself which you wish to buy. Some coins get listed on exchanges and seem to be doing well but then they get taken off not much long after that which means the coins loses value. New coins have a lot of potential and there is a lot of money to be made from investing in them, just be careful.

It is a good option to quickly increase capital. Usually such coins are necessarily shot at 30% or more

depending on how valuable you think a token or coin is, if you predict that the token should have a price 10 times the current price, then just buy the token...

In my own opinion, yes it was very profitable but it will take time before you will be going to earn profit because most of the investors will sell their coins which will make the price to dump so obviously, patience is required to earn profit.

It is profitable if you buy them for future earnings because when any new coin launch in any exchange, normally all bounty holders sell their coins to cash-out and it make the coin down. So it is more better if you invest in already stable coins of this market, they can gives you better returns as compare to new listed coins.

sometimes if a new coin hit one of top 10 exchanges , it could MOON .but generally speaking ,most coin once hit an exchange people will dump and price will hit new lows so it's better to wait and buy the dip.

I will very say that it depends on the new listed coins itself. I'm sure that every coin or token bring the new concept and ideas behind their system. Some coins have good products for real in order to be used by the society. For this kind of coins, I can say that even if it is new listing, I may buy them. But once more, just make your own analysis.

It depends on how the market and the dev team behaves. If you invest in something like centra, you'll have a loss. It's wiser to diversify you investment between mineable tokens, pre-icos and after listing buys.

I think buying after the coin is listed on the exchange will give you a very cheap price compared to inside ICO, because the average ICO coin wastes its price once they enter the market. but it will all depend on the type of ICO because not all ico coins have dumper after being registered in the market.

For last six months, it's been seen that the price of a token comes below the ICO price after being listed to market. And when you buy from the exchange, you don't have to hold it for long. At current period of depression, every legit coin listed for over a week can be profitable in long run. does not rule out the possibility of newly present coins to generate substantial profits. see the development of the emergence of many new coins this gives rise to increasingly fierce competition. so with the coins to be registered it seeks to increase the enthusiast by increasing the existing profits.
