It is very interesting to guess the winner of FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 as this is a big game and there are many best teams to compete. The strongest candidates to be champions are Germany, Spain, England and Argentina. The four teams are strong candidates who will win the world cup. They have a good team and in top condition. But there is one team to watch out for, Belgium. They are a surprise team to watch out for. But I support England to become champion

don't forget about Italy, Netherland, Brazil because this country has potential to compete with the other country too and I think Brazil is a strong candidate too. I am curious with the winner of FIFA world cup 2018 and I see that many countries have made a preparation for this and they still trying to be the best candidates in this world cup.

Brazil is strong right now, that's where you're right. Seems like they finally found the coach who can turn up this all-stars bunch into the united team

Yes. Italy was out since mid last year.
It was big news since they always qualified for the past 50 years for the world cup. For them to not show up in Russia was a huge disappoint for a major league football country.
I think it was Costa rica that took out Chile last year so they are out for this years competition for the world cup.

yeah Spain and Germany and France are my top contenders for winning WC then comes Belgium Brazil as second best To be Honest England still have a lot of flaws despite performing well in qualification in my opinion Portugal have better chance to go further then them they're European champions that means they are highly motivated also Cristiano wants to achieve something great with the team so he can boost his chances to win another ballon D'or unlike England they have not much to prove and they always disappoint in the main events also I'm not sure that their bench have good enough players like the ones I favore.

Indeed, professional players who play in big teams have very busy schedules and can cause them to be late to the training center. But as a professional soccer player I am sure they can adjust quickly. Btw, Gareth Bale is not an English player, he is from Wales and unfortunately he will not be available in Russia since Wales did not qualify for this world cup event.

I've also thought about it, but this time it should be harder to fulfill such scenario due to the VAR system. Surely, it's not a full guarantee of the fair play (I saw what happened in the game between Juventus and Inter recently), but I don't think there would be the same arbitrariness like it had been in Korea. Last year during the Confederations Cup everything was clear enough, so I try to believe this time the referees' topic won't be so crucial as you afraid it to be

I sincerely hope so. I've always been an optimist about these things, but it brought me many bitter experiences. At least the referees will be sure if the ball crossed the line or not... thank God that's the past.

Nope, they are under a whole different organization. Costa Rica is Concacaf and Chile is Conmebol. They are on a different continent too, that is why.
Chile was only 6th after Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. 4 of them qualify directly, while the fifth play an additional match against the champion of CAF (and that is Oceania, New Zeland as usual).

There was a huge panic in CONMEBOL. Brazil and Uruguay were confident, but the rest.... With only three games left Argentina was out! And they lost the game after that... However, I think they won the last two but were through only because their direct rivals played even worse! In any case, we all knew that one great team will be out of the competition and unfortunately it was Chile. And I think that Chile is even a better team than Netherlands and Italy at this moment.

There are so many talks about the cup, they are mostly about situation with Russia where it will going on. Who knows how it will pass in final and will all countries participate in it. My biggest expectations from Germany as always.

Every team has its own weaknesses and in am really not worried with Alves because he indeed comes among the good players of world. In believe rather it is this way that other teams are much weaker than Brazil. They also don’t have any good replacements.

Though I fully understand that football is about teamwork but NEYMAR is an ace in its hand. If we only consider team strength, Brazil has the most chance for winning this World Cup.

I can not predict who will be the winner of the 2018 World Cup later, as there are some countries that many very good players do not qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup ... but for now I think Brazil will play well and for now I am siding for Brazil .. and I hope Brazil becomes the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion..
