This wasn't the fifa i was waiting for why is the score so low i want matches like Spain vs Portugal.

That spain vs portugal match was a champion league level match.
You rarely get to see such matches in a world cup, and that too in a group stage.

Can't wait for Brazil and Switzerland tonight though, thrilled for the match!

Same, I think Germany and Mexico will provide a better and more entertaining match to watch. With a potential winning squad that Germany has I expect a really well put together passing game with a huge amount of chances, Toni Kroos and Mesut Ozil style of play! I want to see some magic from Vela and Chicarito too.

Same, I think Germany and Mexico will provide a better and more entertaining match to watch. With a potential winning squad that Germany has I expect a really well put together passing game with a huge amount of chances, Toni Kroos and Mesut Ozil style of play! I want to see some magic from Vela and Chicarito too.

They lost, cant believe it but there are alot of great unexpected things that happen in this early stage of the world cup. Most of the favourite cant win the game as expected. Spain was having difficult time as well as Argentina and now even Germany lost the game. I wonder what is going to happen for Brazil, they are going up against Switzerland next

Very disappointed from Germany.They had many chances but their poor performance & wonderful defense from mexico(specially memo, brilliant saves) kept them at 0.And the defense of Germany wasn't that good, mexico got many opportunities to take a shot.But Neuer defended most of them, else it would have been +3-0
Now I won't place any bets against/on germany, can be very dangerous.

From what I have noticed from the previous editions of the world cups, it is those teams who perform poorly in the group stages which end up lifting the cup after the final match. Argentina and Germany doesn't need to worry much.

I dont see whats the problem with the Germany squad, it just seems to me that they are not really serious on this match and it backfire to them. If they were a little bit serious from the starting then they could win the game. The team probably is nervous due to their first match but the fans are really dissapointed with their performance

Yeah most of the time they will just keep advancing to the next round. Thats what happen when you put germany in a tough spot, they will just breakthrough of it. I don't think that they are not serious with this match, they did a high pressing against Mexico, the problem for Germany that, Mexico has a very good team and they played very well today and defending more better, Germany had a lot of chances to score a goal, but they haven't really the chance to do that.

Yeah true, this bad start should stress in a positive way the players so they increase their performance and focus in the next games especially vs Sweden. For Mexico loosing an easy ticket to pass to the next round is shameful so Sweden and Germany should compete to take out the last one

Germany made 9 shots on target tonight. They aren't lucky yet in the previous game but if they able to keep the good performance, the next games would give a better result I think. This is just a bad start for Germany!

A very shameful result for Germany as they completely fail to give any impact Mexico done very good job and now have good edge against Sweden and full chance to move in next round Germany is also have still very good chance as they need to do some positive changes for next matches right now most of players are not in good shape but they can change any result any time right now we can say its one of biggest upset after Argentina vs Iceland draw

the problem is the midelfiders not the stikers , when you playing with kheddira and you don't bring leory sany to the world cup you'll get a lot of despointement , the manschaft will be greather next matchs so don't worry about them

What a game from Mexico, played perfectly, scored a goal in the first half by Lozano (This kid has a good future ahead of him) and then Mexico played well on the defensive side, holding the ball and just waiting for that counter to score the 2-0. I dont think Germany has the same level as the last World Cup, favorite for me is Brazil or France, one of those two will be the winner in my opinion.
Now watching Neymar and Brazil trying to win their opening game and make a statement.
