They f**ked it up a few minutes in, sadly. 

Good thing I'm not watching it.  Seeing 11 vs 10 for the next 85 minutes or so just takes the excitement out of it.  But it would be great to see Colombia claw their way back to a draw.

1-1 HT. Quite entertaining tbh, Colombia are one man down but they're playing a lot better, Japan had plenty of chances but they're just awful at finishing. Quintero's free kick was great, but I don't think that was foul on Falcao, bad call from the ref. Overall, great game so far.

Bad luck for Colombian fans Japan won this match by 2-1. I think this was expected when Carlos received a red card.

Yeah I know right and both germany and spain didnt win their first game alongside with Brazil and Argentina as well . Things have change but in this world cup, I still see the same old pattern. The pattern of the favourite team losing their first game because they seem to underestimate the other team, it happens exactly on most world cup recently

Japan was up against Colombia, it was nothing major at all. If they ended up winning against mexico or Brazil then that is another story. Japan is really the team that you shouldnt underestimate. For some people it may be seen as something great however if you do follow the Japanese League then you could tell they have a good potential

What a win for Japan, no one expected anything from them today against Colombia and they came on top, also what a win from Senegal. Looks like a lot of upsets this year, we might see a first time World Cup winner, you never know.

It's confirmed already that Russia are the first team qualified for the next round, the last game vs Uruguay would become "something" to bet , I personally wouldn't place any bet there, it's too vulnerable to get fixed. Also quite unfortunate for Egypt who officially become the first team to lose of 2 consecutive matches, they are out now.

Nah, come on, bookies don't have time to monitor individual "systems", especially for sports and especially for something big like the World Cup. Trust me, they get a lot of volume in these plays especially during group stages with so many teams in there. You're right though, anyone betting on upsets so far should be making a lot of money. I have been very cautious though, and as a result losing a lot of bets. Yet am still too scared to go on the upset results.

i expect Asian teams will reach higher achievement in this tournament and Japan and Iran already made good results yesterday and second matches will determine their position at group phase however regarding Egypt journey apparently Salah can't do more for Egypt that with 2 consecutive to lost then automatically Egypt will not qualified to next round
