With the last games results today, I guess it is safe to say that Russia the host nation have qualified for the next round of the tournament, which is very positive for them, as host nations hate being kicked-out early in such tournaments. I guess Russia's concerns now will be wether to come first or second in their group, in order to meet a less tougher opponent in group B.

It's confirmed already that Russia are the first team qualified for the next round, the last game vs Uruguay would become "something" to bet , I personally wouldn't place any bet there, it's too vulnerable to get fixed. Also quite unfortunate for Egypt who officially become the first team to lose of 2 consecutive matches, they are out now.

Russia has a habit of performing well in the early stages of the tournament and then losing crucial matches. I just hope that this time it won't happen. But if they are able to beat Uruguay and finish unbeaten in the group, then it will be a huge morale-booster.

It could happened for sure especially if Russia looking for weak opponent in the next stage .. It's a common thing actually, I just not sure if then that kind match got fixed, hopefully it won't. It's too early to say that Russia as a host could make a surprise at this World Cup edition, but I'm sure once they beat a big team like Brazil .. People won't put any doubt anymore. They are the black horse.

Bit of a disappointing day for goals yesterday, but think we'll see a few in today's games. Looking at over 1.5 goals for France and Argentina, combination bet is at around 4.50 on cloudbet.com. Would like to see Cahill bucking the trend and joining the exclusive club of players to have scored at 4 different World Cups, so a punt on him to score any time against Denmark is a long shot.

Well in Egypt case, there is no good player beside Mo Salah himself on Egypt team. Salah can't carried his whole team alone. For morocco, they are playing quiet well though in the last match against portugal. They have many big chances but portugal keeper is playing well on that game.

True, Mo Salah is the only good player in Egypt, they hold the game in first half, but Russians kick their asses very fast in second, couples fast goals and they are going I'm next stage. Uruguay also ensured their place in next stage,  yesterday all results were 1 : 0, not so many goals but expected teams won and I made some money yesterday.
I wonder will we see some surprise today, France against Peru and Denmark against Australia, I already made some bets on Denmark and France to win, I don't expect surprises in this two matches, but big match is tonight Argentina vs Croatia, it will be interesting to watch this game, I'm not sure what bet to place here, both team to score looks like only reasonable here.

Perfectly justifies their decision to increase the number of participants from the current 32 to 48. Underdogs such as Mexico, Japan, and Iceland have performed magnificently so far. Hopefully, the next edition of world cup will feature teams such as India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, USA.etc and this will add more color to the world cup.

Russia had wins against Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Not against Germany and Spain. We can't see them show the same game quality against world class team and we think they can't reach more than 1/4 finals, despite the fact that they are the hosts. We don't there would be a lot of surprises in the Top 4. Of course, not everyone will get medals and team like Germany and Argentina can make a shocking leave but don't expect seeing any dark horses in the latter stages of the tournament. France/Germany/Portugal/Belgium are solid picks for the 1/2 finals and close behind them we put Spain/Argentina/Brazil

Mexico didn't play that good, they just took advantage of one successful counterattack. Japan was awful, but playing 11vs10 is always an advantage. Iceland was solid defensively, but they didn't play magnificently, not even close. Overall, no team is playing good football right now.

And the WC with 48 teams is going to be so bad, at least in the first round, it might be as boring as the Europa League group stages where the low-tier teams get destroyed by the big teams. FIFA just wants more money, that's why they're adding more teams.

Regarding the Morocco they would feel that they did not lose only thing it was Ronaldo in the other team due to which the result dint came in their favor and unfortunately yesterday Morcocco had to be out of the tournament. One last match for Morocco before they make an exit and would like to win this match for their country and their followers

The 2022 Qatar edition is going to feature just 32 teams. The expansion will happen with the 2026 North America edition. And the participating teams will be the top 48 teams from the total of 200 plus. So please don't compare it with the Euro cup qualifiers.

Not surprising. I've been following Argentina for quite some time, watching their games before the WC and whatnot, and I knew this shitshow was bound to happen (argentinians probably saw this coming too) as they've been playing like shit since the qualifying stage. I'm not surprised that they lost today, I'm surprised by the overall performance of the team: poor, dreadful, terrible, pathetic, etc...0-2 was bad, 0-3 is pretty much game over.

Not been actively following the thread but today's match was pretty unexpected! Those who claiming "Messi Sucked", Sit the Fuck Down, Match is won by pure team play and now matter how amazing of a player one member is, it will always the team effort that would decide the winning side.

3-0 is killer though! Huge surprises this World-Cup! I hope one of these low-tier countries don't win the match!
