Im so happy to see Argentina finally getting some good moments and scoring goals to pass on the next rounds.

This world cup is going to be one of the best because teams are very even, I have no idea anymore who the favorites are. Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Germany, England, Brazil... all the strong teams are there for eighth finals, I think im not going to gamble a lot because it's just too even. For example Russia is not a typical favorite but it's risky to bet against the host of the championship because they are very motivated to win and do well specially in the eyes of lord Putin.

The Argentinians qualified for the 16th round of the World Cup in Russia after a difficult 2-0 victory over Nigeria on Tuesday (26 June 2018) in the third and final round of Group D of the World Cup.
Defender Marcos Rojo saved the Argentine national team and led them to the next round with a 4-0 victory over Nigeria in the match with the match going on until the 86th minute.

Argentina's Lionel Messi opened the scoring in the 14th minute, and Nigeria's Victor Moses equalized in the 51st minute from a penalty kick to take advantage of second-placed Argentina with 4 points from Iceland's loss, and face France in the next round. Croatia, Denmark, while Nigeria stand at 3 points in third place.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think each team in Group F (Mexico, Sweden, Germany, SK) have a chance of qualifying to the next round today, right? Mexico can even get KO'd from the competition today... My brain is having a hard time trying to figure out exactly how that's possible since there's a team with 6 points and there's another team with 0 points, but by looking at the tables it does look like even South Korea can advance to the knockout phase    

The match is between, mexico vs sweden, and germany vs south korea and if sweden and germany wins the respective match with more goals then i think mexico can be eliminated from team 16. so mexico have to go for draw or win the match. South Korea have no chance of going for round 16 ya but they can destroy the chances of germany by winning the match or making the match draw.

Competition is tightly shown in group F, actually I do not understand what happened to Germany. As defending champion Germany should be able to display a good game in the first fight against Mexico but the results is Germany defeated by Mexico. In Group F Germany, Sweden, Mexico and South Korea all still have a chance of qualifying for the round of 16. Germany can qualify for the round 16 if they win against South Korea provided Sweden loses to Mexico. South Korea can qualify for the round 16 if they wins more than two goals over Germany, and Sweden lost to Mexico with more than two goals conceded. Sweden can qualify for the round 16 if they win over Mexico, if Germany loses to South Korea.

Well I believe German will win this match because this match become their last chance to be in top 16.

I can see that South Korean able to make it draw against Uzbekistan  but they still no match for Germany especially when Germany have many young talented player such as Leon Goretzka ( 22 years old ) and Timo Werner ( 21 years old)

South Korea weakest?? Did you saw their defending at closing times . It wasn't the best but sure did enough to hold Germany.

I would say like Germany also did their best but others did better than them in their Group. Well played Germany

TBH this World Cup for a change is something that is showing what World Cup means to a country football team. Everyone doing their best.

Germany not only lost a game but also lost many bets for me.
I can't just quit watching world cup from the group stage. I need to pick up a new supporting team now.

France and Denmark ended the third round with a 0-0 draw, with the Dijks scoring 7 points after two wins and a draw. Denmark came in second place after two draws and a first win over Peru in the second match after beating them with a clean double. Yup , Germany played poor but Koreans played great , that was some good defending . The thing is , Germans took many shots but failed to convert the shots on goals were way too low when compared to shots and also they missed many headers inside the boxes . Still in a shock and can't believe they are out of the world cup .

I've said it before, in modern football it's really difficult to win a WC back-to-back. Last time was in 1958-1962 (Brazil), nowadays it's almost impossible to win two WC in a row.

Fun facts:

- First time ever that Germany gets KO'd from the WC in the group stages.
- It's the 4th time in the 21st century that the defending champion gets KO'd from the WC in the group stages (2002 France, 2010 Italy, 2014 Spain, 2018 Germany).
- Germany finished in last place in the group...who saw that coming?  

I feel bad for South Korea, they won with the result they needed (2-0) to advance to the RO16, but they also needed a Mexico win.

Wow this is very crazy... Germany out of the world cup. I thought them winning the last game against Sweden would have boosted their confidence for their last game. But it wasn't to be so. It would seem that any favorite before the tournament who has started badly in this tournament will not make it. For example Argentina. Even later today Brazil is not safe. But kudos to Sweden and Mexico, I believe they deserve it. As well as South Korea, going home with some grace, and doing exactly what Nigeria couldn't do yesterday. Lol

Now if Serbia beat Brazil and the Swiss beat Costa Rica I am going to laugh so much lol. Brazil will be out of the tournament as well after Germany. Yesterday Argentina had a stroke of good luck and that saved their sorry butts. All the big favorites are playing terribly in Russia haha. I am having second doubts with my bets today

Their are always this type of trends in sports and if you properly analyse then you can win a lot, so the trend is going on correctly Then their will be some old trends of the winner o f the cup.

I was thinking that germany and sweden will win and mexico will be out of this but south korea played smartly and frustrated germany and posted goal at the end when germany was totally exhausted.

Frankly, I will say South Korea deserve this victory their performance is outstanding in this match after Korea scoring one goal Germany players frustrated and started to attack Korean but we have to appreciate South Korea goalkeeper he saves many goals today. 2nd goal i was not expected it's unbelievable bad luck for Champions.
