^  VAR sucks.  It's not football anymore.  I'd love for the game to be pure and still have that human element in there.  It's not perfect, but that's part of what makes spectating it fun. 

And it's funny how stupid that ref is if he really got the handball call wrong even with VAR.

VAR is not completely sucks but yeah sometimes VAR is do shit on football, even mourinho says VAR is not that good on football. It's not about killing the momentum but sometimes VAR being used on the bad moment like the final match 2 days ago.

As long as man is involved in decision making there is going to be a problem of human error and we saw some poor decisions been made with the help of VAR which signals the system is still a work in progress but I believe this is taking away the fun out of the spot.

This proposition was suggested by us in this topic and better for FIFA to consider it to stop wasting the time and killing the rhythm of the game.

I don't think the problem with VAR is time, players didn't complain about time wasting because of the VAR. And we usually get those 10min in added time.

President of FIFA Infantino gave a very strange statement before final match which is a pretty angered some Croatian players and citizens. He say that Croatia is in final, but who could expect it?

LOL How is that a "strange" statement?? Let's be honest, before the WC even started, who expected to see Croatia in the WC final? no one, whoever says otherwise is a liar.  What Infantino said was pretty much what the entire world was thinking before the match.

Man Croatia fans saw their team get lucky on multiple occasions and thought they would go on to win the World Cup lol. Talk about delusions of grandeur   I even had some Croatia fan in my World Cup thread telling me that my predictions were shit and they were going to bet on Croatia in the final. Well I am not the one who lost money betting on the inferior team Yes there are better teams than Croatia that deserved to be in the final that's a fact. In tennis for example it is easy. Hawk eye shows was it are was 't good ball. But in football things are more complicated. That penalty situation in the finals could be interpreted like illegal play for someone and not illegal for some other viewer.
I totally agree with you that war room should have more importance and their judgement should be the last because of all that you applied. That would take away refs importance in some way but it would be more accurate in decision making.
What do You think about the idea that some day in the future an AI get in charge of war technolgy and just send a signal to the ref?

This would be a tough game.
Belgium and France both plays aggressive game while both of their defenses are still to be tested.
I think France has a better defense but they are poor in finishing the goal shot which is better with belgium.
+2.5 goal seems safe bet for the game.

Now just see what is happening in today match either Belgium wins or France I will enjoy the match because my favorite team is out of the event, alas! However I am going to enjoy these matches which will play between Belgium and France besides which another one is in between Croatia and England. These matches will decide the FIFA winner and I can not wait any more for it just 4 days more and then final.

Which are the better teams you are talking about, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, maybe England or Russia ? Croatia is fully deserved to play in final, and if FIFA have better referee for this final maybe France would not win. Your problem is to think Croatia is inferior team, so best player of World Cup Luka Modric is also inferior player, together with some of the currently best players from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool.

Are you even for real out here what do you even mean by luck they played extraordinary football to reach there and were one of the best performers of the World Cup. England got lucky with their groups but Croatia braved it all to reach all the big teams crashed out but they didn't, they did give their best and even France knew not to underestimate them.

You know what the good thing is? people will remember how Croatia gave the big surprise in this World Cup by reaching the finals since everyone saw them as the underdogs. No one's going to remember how, according to you, the ref helped France in the final, as only a minority of people (really, a handful of people) actually believe that France won the WC thanks to Pitana. Croatia will be remembered as the best underdog in the history of this competition.

Which teams?

If you look at statements from all the teams, Croatia was the only one that wasn't cocky.
English media etc. were all like 'What can this small country do, they only have 4 million people. Hum can't fit 2 teams in it' etc.
Croatia was always like, they're a good team, etc. about their opponents.

Croatia deserved to be there, and France was the one that was lucky.

In the second half Croatia returned with level but again France hit another goal which clinched the match for them and the final trophy.

I think we can all agree that it was a good game. Finally! A good game in the final, not seen in a long time..... Too bad it was ruined by bad refereeing. Same with Barca 5-10 years ago for example - a great team, maybe the best of all time, yet we remember them for bad refereeing. Or Juventus, a fantastic team, would win 9/10 times anyways, but they had to give them an easy edge. We have the same situation with Dinamo in Croatia (and the only thing it does is ruin the competition and making their own chances in Europa league worse... ironically they even earn less money because of this).

France is a fantastic team, I saw them as tournament favorites number 1. Their third team (the one that didn't play on World cup) could win the World cup. However, I have nothing but despise for their win in the finals. And why? Because of some politicians. Come on. Let us play and watch football.....

They were nationalist signs. But their usage during the match against Serbia can open the Pandora's box. These signs were extensively used by the KLA of Kosovo, and this organization is accused of murdering thousands of Serbs during the 1990s. Will the reaction be the same if the Croat players use the Ustaše signs or if the Serbs use the Chetnik signs?
