You can see here a list of all cryptocurrencies with their price and market cap, just my 2 cents, you should look at the market cap and not at the price, as some coins may look cheaper but there have large amount of coins in existence.
Most of the crytocurrency community believes that bitcoin will rule the cryptomarket, but personally I think that if a coin will offer a more advanced technology then bitcoin I think that people won't stay behind.

It is more than impossible sort of thing to comment on the market value of any of the crypto coin but if we make an analysis based on the past values of most of the crypto coins, you can hope that the market value of most of the crypto coins including bitcoin will increase and that it will be much better than its current market value and that it will not be possible for any of the coin to compete with bitcoin.

Well its not really necessarily for someone to wait up for a certain price range yet as long we would able to see profits then selling out anytime would be possible or can be made and buyback later on when we see another decrease on price.If you will done this thing actively then making profits would be more compared on just holding it out for a long period of time but well this would matter on personal preference and skills on trading.

I always tell people, as long as bitcoin is the first, development is not going to halt, and support keeps growing with real life usage, then we will understand that altcoins have always been a distraction all along as a lot of them will end up taking the hit as the demand for bitcoin starts soaring pretty high. It would take all those things that I mentioned lacking in bitcoin to see any coin overtaking it.

It's like you said, price depends from demand from the people, but demand is nothing without supply. When price is floating that means that both supply and demand are moving. We can't expect price to be stable when we have so many people who are trading, they affect situation on the market mostly.
What is movement if demand, it have just two directions up or down, what affect people to be interested in bitcoin or not? Not just people, companies, countries. The thing is that interest is rising, that's a trend, but there are moments when panic selling affect supply to go extremely high and demand even if it stay the same price will go down. This indicates if bitcoin is still worth up to the amount that has been mined, the price of bitcoin will rise, each investor will continue to hold prices on someone who wants to have bitcoin so as every new investor has to spend a lot of money so they have bitcoin.
