Right now almost all ICO are in ETH based platform and accepting ETH, so the main purpose of having ETH is for investment in ICO but apart from that i use to daily trade in ETH as it easily give 5% to 10% of margin trading in it. It is also good investment for long term just like BTC.

Ethereum can be used in so many ways. The most important thing about this is to exchange into fiat currency. Ethereum has lot of trading pair of so many tokens from ICOs, from this I earn fiat by converting my tokens into ethereum and this ethereum to trade into fiat. Really great.

Personally, I have been using my ethereum mostly for long term investment because I believe it is very profitable as the price can rise very well in multiple especially when you hold on long term. I also do trading sometimes with ethereum because it is potential for trade if you have the very good knowledge of trading.

I treat ethereum as a long term investment, I always believe that ethereum will go back to it's highest price because there is no platform like it so far in the market and it's the most used platform for coin creation, so far their status is unchallenged and will continue as long as there are companies that want to create new token for their product and services.

I currently use ETH to invest in ICOs and some of them are HODL for the long term.
but at the moment I stop investing in ICO moving in to seek short-term income. and for me ETH is currently good to hold because it has the potential to overtake bitcoin prices. that's only limited to my current thinking.

Most peoples use ethereum as investment. But ethereum have many purpose beside as investment. With many token using ethereum network, peoples using ethereum for paying transaction fee. I am using ethereum as my investment because i have a few coin and small amount used for paying transaction fee

Investing your ethereum into ICOs these days is not very profitable as before. Scam project have become so much that people fear these days to try investment into ICOs. Not to even talk of dumping of the coin by hungry hunters. I do trading with ethereum and also investments as well
