I believe fairy tales about dangers of crypto are pretty often used by greedy politicians who are afraid of losing their power and influence. Arguements about using crypto for money laundering and black market operations are not convincing for me.

They feel this is dangerous if this will be use  by criminal elements but this thought is not fear since fiat money is also usable for any criminal act , why not they focus legalizing cryptocurrency so that , they can monitor any activity using crypto , and protect this for being use by any criminality .

Crypto is not dangerous by its nature, it is becoming dangerous for the newly members or the new people who've entering crypto. Crypto is not dangerous but some countries banned it because it is decentralised. Meaning, government cannot have the control and cannot tax it. Government wants to control every  money transactions which they can have the data in banks. But for individual it is advantageous because nobody knows how much wealth you have since we  are anonymous. Crypto can devalue even the most powerful country currency and that what are they afraid of because want to control the world.

Actually the biggest danger posed by the "crypto industry" is the waste of electrical energy needed for the POW. Bitcoin alone is consuming more electricity than Ireland. If that consumption will grow more and more THAT will be a REAL and measurable damage to the world.
