I bought a quite bit of Paccoin on 1 sat and thought it was the best deal given the circumstances that cryptopia has paused ltc/doge market, After purchasing i started reading more about paccoin, came to know price is under 1sat. i tried to sell it back on 1sat but there is a big selling wall.

anyways i have decided to hold them for long , i just downloaded the wallet its fully syncs and ready, sent few hundreds coins from cryptopia worked fine for me. there is a problem with wallet, it gets error after every couple of hours and has to close and reopen.

I am ready to send all of my coins to the wallet but need to know few things before

1- what happen to my coins if my computer break or window get corrupted, is there any way of back up my coins on some external drive?

2- I am quite new in crypto world, can some body explain me staking in details. How does it work, what kind of reward is given for staking and do i have to keep my computer on all the time?

Can somebody help me with that?

Thanks

There's a good saying think its from Brazil, it may help some decide what to do with the coin.

Keep the enrypted copy your paccoin wallet at different offline places (pendrive),

Or you can keep copy inside a encrypted container like veracrypt. Find more on youtube.

Make sure your PC does not have any virus

Hello.

Probably everyone would like you to add paccoin to new exchanges. Trades on the cryptopy are closed, the price falls heavily, the coin came out of the top 100 on a coinmarket. This is not good and everyone understands this perfectly. We hope that you will take action on the new exchanges.

Good luck.

@manswers: to move your coins from Cryptopia to your wallet, open your wallet and click the "receive" button.
Then you will see a white window and in the upper right corner you will find your receiving address. This address looks like this example (just to give you an idea): LtvBeOaaAsWpcqYzxJdiLa

Copy this address. Go to Cryptopia then to "withdraw". Choose Paccoin from the dropdown list. Then paste the address that you copied from your wallet. Enter the amount of coins that you want to withdraw and execute the withdrawal. Coins will be in your local wallet soon.

Keep in mind that your wallet can be locked while sending or receiving coins. Actually "locked" is a confusing word here. It should be "encrypted". So you can do send/receive transactions with a locked wallet.

Hello!

Lots of noobs with only a single post still desperately trying to pump this pile of excrement.

Wow, what a sad lot in life you are.

You do realize there's more honor in digging toilet ditches than doing what you do for a living, right?

Non-fraudulent noobs: steer clear from this coin. DO NOT BUY IT! Its been hijacked by some ruthless bagholders and all they are trying to do is make your money theirs. No this isn't FUD, because that would imply I am purchasing this "coin." I am not. I wouldn't touch this 3.4 trillion circulating garbage dump with a 100 meter pole.

Neither should you.

Hi can someone tell me if it is possible to do the following? In other words will this work? I have done this with other wallets before but not sure if Paccoin supports it.

1. Open Paccoin wallet
2. Send Paccoin to your own wallet address using 100 separate transactions
3. Cause those transactions to sit as 100 different inputs in the wallet on the same Paccoin address
4. Cause staking to stake only on one of these inputs leaving the other 99 mature so you can keep on staking 24/7 without having to wait for 30 days?

For everyone who has a wallet problem with Windows 10 x64, i found a solution.

My wallet crashes every 3-6 hours and im not the only one with this problem - you can see here = https://www.reddit.com/r/paccoin/comments/7pg0t0/paccoin_desktop_wallet_keeps_shutting_off/?st=jcbvcumu&sh=9b27eab0

Now you can try this : For me , i dont have any crashes anymore since i do this.

Right click on Paccoin-qt.exe and and set compatibility to Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

This should help to prevent wallet crash in windows 10 x64

sry for my english

PACcoin update

On Friday January 5th 2018, exactly one week ago, the enormous demand for PAC caused its main exchange (Cryptopia) to crash. Even today Cryptopia did not recover from the sky rocketing demand for PAC and Cryptopia's LTC and DOGE trading against any other coin including PAC is still paused. While Cryptopia is working on upgrading their server systems to restart trading, PAC is currently traded mainly against BTC. BTC is not a good pair for PAC as I explained in post #1700 on page 85 of this thread. Therefore the trading volume is very low compared to a week ago and also the price dropped, (although the price is still about 50x the price of 4 weeks ago) .

Good news: a new exchange is opening its doors soon (www.altcoin.io). At this moment people can vote what Alt-coins should be traded on this new exchange. PAC is ranked number 1 in the contest! And PAC is currently under consideration by altcoin.io as can be seen here: https://feedback.altcoinexchange.com

Current schedule:
- January 13: closing of the logo design contest for the new PACcoin that will be launched on March 1. 250 million (!) PACcoins for the winner.
- January 15: Launch #PacFyle (social network)
- January 19: LIVE broadcast Q & A
- February 1: Issue of the PAC whitepaper
- March 1: Hard fork

A bit more information about the last days and a bit more technical information regarding the upcoming coin redemption can be found here:
