Publish a message from new developers :

"" Let me give some facts from the old original PACcoin - was a PACIFICA nation coin  (which he launched as a joke):  Bill Corliss is the old DEV of this coin.  He paid somebody to   develop it as he is not a developer.  He sold off his share and left it to rot.  MANY people were left with useless coins.  He disappeared for several years and now suddenly resurfaces and wants us to believe he means well?  The current DEV team came to terms with him to launch the new coin - he agreed and held the rights to the domains hostage via wanting BILLIONS of PAC.  He was paid and he agreed to help and not impede the progress of PAC.  Now he is back trying to take control and infuse confusion.  I need to be transparent with the facts.  I have all the emails as proof from him as well.  Let's ignore him - the new coin is the future - not his crappy POS coin of old.  Time to move on.......  We tried to take the high-road with this guy - he wants to take the LOW road.  SAD.
Sorry for the sad news on this - we were hoping that this was taken care of.  But we have to be 100% transparent.

Bill when you read this - I invite you to post your rebuttal publicly - and we can see what people think? ""

ohs mate...i prepared $ 1k for this coin and you really back me down with your post...   Embarrassed Embarrassed  guys is there anyone with a certain info that this coin will not die?it doesn't matter if will moon in 2 years..at least it will!

Die? That's not an option.
The question is if it will thrive like DOGE coin.  Cheesy

The coin resurrected as a phoenix from the ashes. New developments have come that are actively developing the coin. The coin will only develop. I think in the future the coin will be very popular on the market.

Seems like a second live 30 minute Q & A with Brad took place on Discord yesterday addressing members most pertinent questions regarding current issues & plans for PAC coin in the near future. Someone independently made a transcription video here:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=EDwg-AARSSY

For the transcription from PAC coins Reddit page, go here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/paccoin/comments/7s4h2f/live_qa_with_brad_on_discord_happened_today_video/

It's my opinion that this Q & A was an improvement from the first one. The important questions are better answered here than the first video and things were a little more clarified. But that's my opinion. You can check it out and form yours. Trade responsibly. 👍

Seems like the fix the Dev team sent to the exchanges is working, Tradesatoshi deposits/withdrawels are fixed I think. Cryptopia will soon follow in a couple of days. Yobit may take 7-14 business days if the team choose the free option on the coin maintanence section, if the team choose the paid options, then Yobit should have coins restored in a few more business days. Hopefully it all works out for everyone.

So I'm rather pissed at Yobit. I transferred my coins there over a week ago now and They aren't being deposited because they say the wallet is under "maintenance" How long does this damn maintenance have to take. I hope i didn't just lose my millions of shares. It's ridiculous!

yobit maintenance usually gets a loot looot of time, i mean months, someone has related once he has been waiting for a year.

The dev team looks sincere.

It's nice to hold a coin that starts from the scratch.

The Dev. team has given the option of compensating for loss coins due to wallet issues. Just have proof and they'll redeem the lost old ones for new ones.

Sometimes Yobit is very disgusting and porous. An exchange of such level is not suppose to be so. How can exchange do maintenance of wallet for over 3 months with any update?

I personally think the exchanges are investigating some kind of fraud practices, or as someone said, that pac coin has been hacked and the website has been taken over by unknown people... probably the dev of pac has asked cryptopia to lock down the coin till further things get in control. One exchange can go in maintenance mode for this coin, not two.. there is more to what meets the eye.

It is possible.
When a cryptocoin becomes hot and during the upgrade and swap to a new coin, it might invite  51% attacks, causing a short fall in the exchange overall PAC balances.

Actually Cryptopia's  DOT coin did suffer from such attacks
DOT stopped scrypt-POW mining and was switched to Ubiq platform last year.

Dotcoin(DOT) Coin Swap
Recently there has been a large uptick in coins being affected by 51% attacks, and unfortunately DOT joined this list earlier in the week. We managed to identify and respond to the attack sooner rather than later though the attacker did manage to make an impact on the market. This is the reason DOT has been in maintenance while we tried to determine the best response to the issue. Due to the amount of hash that can readily and easily be thrown around at small networks these days we had to ask ourselves if it still makes sense for DOT to run on its own network as it is clear to us that we cannot afford secure the network ourselves, and that the demand for DOT is not sufficient enough to attract the amount of distributed computing power required to sufficiently secure the network either. We've decided to perform a swap of the DOT blockchain to a WAVES asset, the use case of DOT is not based around mining or proof of work so we don't think anything is lost in moving DOT to a token platform. A final block height will be defined to allow for a swap period of approximately 90 days before the cut off of new blocks being included in the swap. The new token will be created and swapped 1:1 with the old chain with the new asset matching the coin count of the old chain up to the cutoff block height. Cryptopia will also keep a copy of the old blockchain so that old coins prior to the cutoff block height can continue to be swapped. Cryptopia will allow for a full year before the swap process is closed and swaps of coins on the old chain will no longer be accepted. Cutoff Block: 1,200,000 Total DOT at block 1,200,000: 522,500,000 DOT New DOT Asset Total: 522,500,000 DOT If you already have your DOT on Cryptopia then there's nothing further you need to do everything will be swapped automatically, this included all DOT currently in Term Deposits that will remain uninterrupted. If you do not currently have your DOT on Cryptopia and want the swap to happen automatically then you must deposit your DOT to Cryptopia before block 1,200,000. If you fail to swap your DOT before block 1,200,000 you will have to raise a support ticket to get your swap sorted. Cryptopia has covered the DOT that was lost in the 51% attack from their own DOT reserves, so all users will remain completely unaffected by the attack. The final date for swapping your DOT will be 2018-07-01.

Unrelated:
I've just installed the paccoin wallet, am now syncing.. Then i'll try to move my +/- 11,25 million coins to the wallet. Hope it'll come through swiftly.

It can be risky today, Cryptopia and Yobit put their wallets under maintenance

strange. my wallet sync. Grin Grin

Minting suspended due to locked wallet? why?

You need to unlock wallet for minting.
See FAQ https://wallets.paccoin.net/#faq

Quote
How to unlock the wallet for minting only?
Go to Help > Open Debug Window and there type:
walletpassphrase “your-password” 9999999 true
Please notice that your password is the one you created when the wallet was encrypted.
