Been trying to get answers from the new team to no avail, looks like from what I can tell you are the creator of the current paccoin so I'll ask you this question. When this other paccoin comes out, what do you plan to do with this coin? Will it continue business as usual, or do you plan to somehow make the coins go away.? I'm reading that the current blockchain is broken, and the old wallet is broken, but I have the old wallet and the even older wallet (with the pacifica symbol) synced currently right now and see no issues including with balance. Please advise, TIA.
Although there may be one issue, which has come up lately, it doesn't "break" the blockchain. As you have noticed your wallet works perfectly. I would say it is my intention to keep the project going, which works in their interest, but they don't seem to "not want to be in control", so they're trashing it for now.
There is virtually no difference between the old wallet and the new wallet. Just the skin. Its the same wallet.
To address the problem above I am working on upgrade that disconnects misbehaving wallets.

Bill

Thumbs up.

i deposited Paccoin on Yobit. His wallet is online and working. but my Paccoin didn't  arrive! the transaction is on Paccoin blockchain V1 but Yobit wallet does not work!!   Be aware.

I sent some paccoin to yobit also, and after about a week it finally arrived. I assumed this was due to their efforts at rebuilding the blockchain.
I sent some more this morning, and it hasn't arrived. I have submitted a ticket, so we'll see whats happens.

Bill

Why Bill are you sending your Pac to yobit?HODL  Grin

yobit have some bad report in previous days. i have experience about this problem. they do not care about any wallet or coin upcoming swap. they stop withdrawal full. I show when asaf coin made a swap. I am sure this time yobit will do same issue. if they did same, then we are some guys will be finish. i have invested 40 btc on pac cash swap. but I can't sell even can't withdrawal them for swap. dev team should take necessary action now. other then we will be finish.

I think we need to press yobit as scammers, they are taking advantage of this situation and gonna keep the coins and run

Unless the redemption/swap schedule is changed and there is a PoS-pool to join. there is no point for non-master-node PAC/$PAC to swap right now.
Without the swap the old PAC can continue the PoS for the 7-9% per month or 100% per year of staking/minting,
(or put it squarely-> of "inflation" or corresponding depreciation of value unless the PAC/$PAC can appreciate or keep the price)
for you to have double or even more total holding values of the PAC/$PAC in one year Huh) Wink Wink Wink

I am still doubting to buy PAC coin.. The trading volume on Cryptopia is still o% and I am afraid that when I buy them now and they reduce the max supply coins by 1000x, won't you loose a lot of money? Because what happend with B3 when they reduced it by a 1000x, the coins were right away worth half of my money (Iwent from 643k coins to only 643.. Can someone give me a proper explenation how that works? Thanks in advance..

Of course Cryptopia volume is 0%. They closed the markets in preparation for it's on-exchange redemption and switch to Pac Cash. You can still by the current coin at Yobit or Tradesatoshi. If you're planning on participating in the redemption, just make sure come Feb. 1st you transfer it to you desktop wallet so that the New Devs can automatically redeem them for you.

DO NOT buy PAC with BTC. Buy it w/alts and you'll get more than twice as much. Some traders have been buying with alts & selling for BTC for 2x's profit. But it's a long wait before those buying with BTC (God knows why they buy with BTC) reach your buy orders.

At least Pac cash will eliminate the inherent price discrepancy between BTC and Alt markets.
Oke thank you ☺ that is usefull info!!

When Brad in the live stream mentioned that there are 3 wallets: OLD, Redemption and NEW; the old and redemption should be on paccoin.net and the new one will be released soon.  Where is the Redemption wallet on paccoin.net?

PACCOIN UPDATE

Yesterdsy we could see an excellent live Q&A with Brad and developer BreakCrypto.

Also the white paper has been released.

*All* information regarding the redemption can be found on Paccoin.net  or will be released there soon. The only official twitter channel of the team that revived PAC is @paccoinofficial  Some necessary information will be released soon. The same is true for the new wallet for $PAC (the new PACcoin). Please be patient and keep an eye on the sites I just mentioned.
