It should not be a new thing to us all that bitcoin will always and surely be the winner if this year 2018 again. If you see the price of both bitcoin and ethereum now, you will realize it is going down everyday but the rate at which ethereum is dropping in price; it has left it in a state of very low price and it is even likely to reach a low of $200 soon. So bitcoin has had more stability in price that ethereum this year and it is predicted that it will reach $30,000  this year and ethereum is predicted to reach $15,000 when the bull market arrives. So you can see that bitcoin will surely be the winner of the this year 2018.

I still believe in Bitcoin. But I still do not despise Ethereum, because it is very strong.

this year there seem to be no winner in terms of prices, but the progress is there, especially in etehreum network, which is great. I don't think we need to compare these two projects though

But regarding the price of bitcoin and ethereum, there is still a large gap to fill in ethereum to reach bitcoin's peak price. But it will be possible soon but not this year. Ethereum is still struggle as its price as of now.

The bitcoin keeps on the market more confident than the Ethereum. However, the year has not yet ended and the Ethereum can show significant growth.

Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

So far this year's price trend shows that ethereum has a better position than bitcoin. As it is now, but it's still a long way to go because we're waiting for bullrun and if ethereum repeats what happened last year then ethereum can win, and outperform the bitcoin market price.

Both of these coins are very popular both bitcoin and ethereum, it is very difficult to determine the two winners for this year, but for me, I will state that bitcoin is the winner for this year, everything in bitcoin is very difficult to compete with any crypto.

I believe that the etherium will not jump through bitcoin. And bitcoin will remain in 2018 a finalist. I believe that by the end of the year, the currency should have risen by 40-50%.

It depends on many factors, how you decide the winner?, if it is pure by speculative price, we know that bitcoin will always be ahead and always generate the best profits, if we talk about technology and platform ETH obviously has an advantage in this area because its usefulness is unparalleled and we can do many interesting things with its technology, I also think you should put NEO in the competition, because if the Chinese market is regulated we will see as NEO is skyrocketed to the moon

Bitcoin will be the leader this year. Ethereum is not very confident in the market and he is completely dependent on Bitcoin's course. However, the current course of the Ethereum is also quite interesting for long-term investments.

The current situation in the market rather impels us to ask which of the main coins is more worthy to be called "loser of the year"

Bitcoin who became the number one coin in Cryptocurrency market. I see the development of Bitcoin is increasing and has the highest price. So Bitcoin in every year must be number one.

This year has become very difficult for the crypto currency, and both coins are going through very difficult and unpleasant times. ETH dropped significantly more than Bitcoin. Therefore Bitcoin is the winner.

It's hard to say for sure: This year Bitcoin or ETH will win? No one is sure what will happen at the end of the year. Which currency will rise to the throne. Long bitcoin always stands at the top and leads ahead of ETH. But recently ETH's trading has increased sharply compared to BTC. I still expect bitcoin to win.

Bitcoin will still be the winner. Although many emerging new coins, but until now there has been no coin that can replace Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is the number one coin in the world of crypto, the others can only be Bitcoin followers only.
