i would love to see nmc pps (or any *pps variant).

btw: whats your plan when merged-mining kicks in? do we get btc and nmc - both prop (or *pps)?

For Merged mining date PPS - NMC and BTC or Prop both or PPS BTC + 3% only (I keep NMC) or PPS NMC + 3333% only (I keep BTC).

I will try to get to that point if not prop only.

Nevermind.  The difference was the 3% fee.  Didn't realize it was taken at payment time vs as things are earned.

BTC PPS drops to 3130 nano bitcoins at 00:00 UTC then on 26th at 00:00 even in the middle of the block the system will go down for maintance and be backup within 5 minutes mining namecoins only no PPS unless I happy with the changes I make to enable NMC PPS.

NOTE: Payouts are 6 blocks behind and getting worse I would fix it but a mistake would be costly so I will not fix it until Monday.

Hey Davinci,

weren't you supposed to take the pool offline at midnight UTC and disable the BTC payouts ?

I won't mind you keeping the BTC promotion running a little bit longer of course  Wink

During the stress test stales didn't go up one bit, so from my end I say: stress test passed !!!

Now let's get to merged mining, 99 blocks to go....

Never Mind, pool switched back to NMC mining

Yeah I could not change that quickly but I did mention it in my postings.  Besides it's still more BTC than you can earn anywhere else even at the lower 3130 nano bitcoins minus 3%.

Absolutely.  No problem from me.  It was just a misunderstanding on my part about when the fee was subtracted.  I wasn't paying close attention.

I wish I could have been warned by email that I was now mining NMC instead of BTC.

I do not watch nmcbit news constantly, I also do not have easy control over all miners and this will be a pain to switch.

Sorry but, I do not want NMC over BTC

Sorry, but you do know you can subscribe to this thread and get emails when I post something.  My web site is not set up for mass emails an most people don't put their real email.

Luck has now improved with my and with it a realization of how the real world works.  It's time I stop trying to change it and start living with it and playing the same game.  If you don't understand that's ok because you don't want to understand because understanding requires believing it and that's the hard part... believing reality.

BTW brat that block was a lot longer than reported, as that server went 600,000 shares with out a block found.

Now lets see if I can turn my new found knowledge into success.

It was not meant for you but those that are watching and not saying anything know exactly what I am talking about.  I'm sure if you look back at the events that transpired with the attack you can use some imagination and come up with a theory or two.  Since I have no hard evidence YET I not going to accuse anyone of anything publicly.

As for merged mining we have 5 or 6 days not weeks.

I'm not sure about this merged mining, but I'll try it out when it kicks in.

It works on the test net lets see how it works in production, I have discovered a few tricks to ensure success I would share but this is how all the pools operate so I will keep it to myself.

Davinci
