Good for GTX 1080 and 1080ti owners but bad for other GPU owners as total hashrate of ETHhash is going to increase Wink
now there will be fewer utterances of type 1070 than the most universal card from green, but the red ones will go to the secondary market even more, but the new series from Nvidia will, from the insides, be with GDDR6 - the development of this miner will cease Undecided

Good thing it's not a miner.

Perhaps this program can run in the background of Nemos or Nicehash. Fire up ETHlargement, do a rebenchmark and let it go.

I don’t see why not. It doesn’t have anything to do with the miner.

55.2 MH/s Zotac 1080Ti mini 67 PL - +140 core - +770 Mem

I can't squeeze more. If I increase mem it reduce the hahsrate. I tried also increasing voltage and PL but nothing. Can't go more than that!!!!

why even OC the core? ETH doesnt care about that. drop it to -300 or -400 and you'll likely see no drop in hashrate and reduced power use.

both you guys need to wait more than 2 hours. christ.

run it for 24hrs +

this works. my poolside hashrate lines up with my miner output.

anybody tested on 1080?

I can't get it working with my 1080s.  Tried both ethminer and Phoenix, both give Cuda errors and crash

Have you read the manual? Smiley

https://github.com/OhGodACompany/OhGodAnETHlargementPill/blob/master/prescription.txt

About half the 1080 has a different memory rev and cannot take the optimal timings, they need a middleground.

Yes, the manual isn't very clear though.  My 1080s are in slots 0 and 1, so I ran it with the flag --revA 0,1    Is this correct?

Could you explain how to apply this flag? I'm a moron!

The manual is pretty clear to me, at least:

Windows: OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4
Powershell: .\OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4
Linux: ./OhGodAnETHlargementPill --revA 0,3,4

So in windows, you can use a batch file (.bat) to call this, exactly the way just about every mining software (can) operate. It would work in a shortcut (.ink) too, in the target field you can add a param as long as there is no spaces in the path.

Good lord.

Guys. It says there, right in the tool - it's 1080 and 1080Ti (okay, and now TitanXP) only. Literally.

Your P104-100 will not work. Your P106-100 will not work. Your RX470 will definitely not work.

The tool is for ETHhereum. That's why it's called ETHlargement. That's the joke.

Your shares get reflected at the pool. Wait a few damn hours.

No, this tool isn't responsible for killing your rigs, eating your children, your MyEtherWallet being hacked or your land rates increasing.

If you don't trust OhGodACompany, don't run it.

However: if you DO have a TitanXP, 1080 or 1080Ti that isn't running this tool correctly, please, let us know on GitHub or here. These edge cases are usually due to users not running as root/admin, but, hey, who knows, maybe there's RevC memory wandering out there somwhere.

Hi All,

Maybe someone tell me why my hashrate is not 50-55 for 1080TI as most people stated.

I got 19 GPU 1080 TI, (ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE/etc) and I got 48-49.7 Mh/s on all of them in SMOS OS, with 175 Watt, +100 Core, +500 Mem, Also 6 Titan Xp Jedi Collection which gave me 50-52 Mh/s with 175 Watt, +100 Core, +750 Mem.

I tried to change core/memory settings or wattage, and only got dropped for hashrate.

Maybe someone can put me in a right direction... looks like I got 1.3 Gh/s which is ok :-) but losing about 100-200 H/s on top of that.

Thanks.

According to my understanding GTX 1080ti with 55 ETHhash is burning 125W less electricity than Zcash 750 sols.
Thats why some Zcash miners can change. Just my opinion.

But even with that, mining eth on 1080ti is not more profitable than coins being mined currently on these cards. Yes, this ETH "pill" is good news, but its not going to change what 1080 owners mine.
