Its quite unfortunate that we now have to deal with scams on a regular basis these days, With an influx in ICO launch, not all can be considered legitimate, some come in with an intention of collecting the money from the crowd with no proper capability to deliver what they promise and afterwards go under. Its difficult to tell such projects but they exist. It therefore calls for any investor interested n investing to be very keen on where they pput their money, they have to look into the project and thoroughly scrutinize it before investing.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

The first thing you should learn is how to choose ICO's properly, you need to spend a lot of time in analyzing projects.

You are right that more and more scams are coming out in the market.
Most of the projects don't even have decent members.

Do not be too sad due to scam coins.  Cheer up, in it lies a learning curve that if taken very well can make people better.

In fact, due to their exploits and mischief, the crypto community is coming together to defraud and unmask these so called scammers at first sight.

Besides, it is not only it the world of cryptocurrency that scammers exist, it is prevalent all over the world as history stretched and will always be part of any economy, so to say.

Perhaps it would be a good thing to inform others how to detect scam coins, projects, ICO, etc instead of sitting on one corner and letting the gloom catch up on you.

beginner should stay away from ico. Its recommended for beginner to learn how to trade and how to store the coins. Doing bounty is good choices if you want to learn about cryptocurrency. I do feel sad for those who lose their money on scam ico. Ico suppose to be an unique way to invest and that one of things that makes cryptocurrency unique but someone that not responsible using it to generate fast money and doing crime.

How is it hard to believe? In pretty much every industry there are scammers, and even more so in industries that promote decentralization and privacy. It's very simple, if the ICO has an overambitious project, with a suspiciously low soft cap, and an anonymous team, avoid it like the plague.

Scam ICOs stick out like a sore thumb, just be intelligent about what you invest your time into.
This is why there is a lot of scam icos https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-ceo-calls-icos-necessary-and-100-times-easier-than-traditional-venture-capital
That article is a reliable source to be reading by anyone. Every part of the financial instrument will not so far from the fraudulent act.

An even legal financial instrument can be frauded by inside. So, it will be so easy to the crypto to be manipulated by scammers.

Actually this is normal...you should expect somebody to steal if the things are so easy to do that, in areas, where it is harder - less scam.

I would like to say if Coin Coins can be everywhere, but for this, we have to investigate ICO, read the white paper and then invest so the money is not wasted. So we have to educate ourselves with proper research and more awareness good. Investing is a risky business and nobody is to blame but ourselves.

I do not think there are any scam coins and I know the scam coins are only in ICO because in ICO projects many investors are patching up the profits of some people who want to invest in ICO by paying and ultimately people who invest in ICO fail in the project

We are just the victims of those scammers that are everywhere. To aware these scam coins: we must have to be wise also in choosing ICO before joining their team. Check first the background of this project if it is legit. Then, have a glance to take your time to read whitepaper of the said project. Through this you can assurre that the team you were going in is true and accurate for building as team.

Even Ethereums Vitalik Buterin agrees that majority of the ICOs are scam, he made this pronouncement in his Twitter account last year and you can really tell how many ICOs are really worth investing with feasible projects. Some are just run off the mill with white papers copied from other projects and people behind the project are totally unknown with newly created Linkedin accounts.

Although the transaction of cryptocurrency in my country has been banned, all kinds of ICO scams still exist. I think that investing in ICO is really a very risky thing. If you do not fully understand and trust, then it is best not to blindly invest.

There are lots of scam coins in the world of crypto. But not all ICO was scam. Some are legit but going dump by the bounty hunters. Because they selling those coins at the lowest price. So that their coins will be sold asap. They didn't think about the investors during ICO.

Yes in my country there are alot of online investment that claimed they has legit coin, and they use network marketing to attrack investor, and many newcomer in crypto just believe it, many people dont really understand what is different legit crypto vs fraud crypto. Need more education of blockchain technology to understand how does it work so everyone can to make analysis which is legit and fraud crypto.
