Be careful in some sites there are malwares aiming to steal your existing money. Not every web site is for a project.

Hi
Before you invest, you should always inform yourself. This means reading white papers, checking the website, viewing ICO's ranking on other websites. Also check out the team and sometimes check the team names on google. There are many opportunities to discover Scam coins and thus the opportunity to make good investments.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
Its better to have a proper knowledge before investing in ICO, always be aware and be careful search the credibility of the developer because there are so many scam artist out there, always read the white paper because all the details is in there and always check if the project is supported by the community.

All those steps you are talking about is necessary to reduce the percent you will lose in this market , not make it becoming zero percents, the percents that you will get scammed is still there.

I joined a project or two turns out to be a scam. For the bounty hunters, its really sad and exhausting. Imagine weeks works turn into dust. And also the people that joined the project caused they trusted you. Which not only reflecting to your image but also the Crypto community and the Cryptocurrency itself. But like in the real world. Scams and theif are always and also everywhere.
Just be vigilant and careful.

More and more new projects will certainly also many opportunities that the project was a scam. But I think for the scam is very rare, I'd often see many projects are very nice. And I want to follow suit. But I've been following the project on its own, so I had to finish projects I follow first.

This is an unavoidable thing. There are fraudsters in places where benefits can be generated. This is normal. There are many such people in our lives. They are all making use of people’s ignorance. Why are there so many frauds on the market today? Fraudulent behavior is first and foremost because the market does not have good supervision, and secondly because many investors are now blindly investing! In the case of ignorance, the investment was made, and after being deceived, there was no department that could appeal, so the market was so confusing!

There are two people in the world the good and the bad. And in crypto world there are scammers and the scammed. You will not be scammed when you will check all the details of the project you are interested. You should be careful on where to invest money. I think scam is everywhere so it's hard to stop it. So the only defense is to check to and dig deeper to the project. You can compare if it's unusual or not.

One time I bought an insane amount of scam coins for like a few dollars thinking it might be it. Turns out the coins in ETHERDELTA where it was first sold were the only sale this coin ever had and nobody went to buy or sell. I became a bag holder at that point. Too bad experience but still I only lost a few dollars.

Scam is the scourge of the whole crypto community. If this problem could be solved, the crypto currency would have a bright future.

I don't think this needs to get solved for crypto community to thrive. It's natural that scammers are attracted by crypto, it simply says that it's good business. I don't think we will ever get rid of them

yes this is a real problem. but i feel the market is correcting itself and new icos are coming that are trustworthy.
also nowadays, people should rely less on ico ratings etc. because those are often great, even for scams.

Indeed, there are now many fraudulent ICO projects and the confidence of investors is dwindling. I was very eager to invest in ICO projects, but after a few scams and I became more experienced.
I have been more careful about high profit ICO projects. I think fraudulent projects and bad projects will help many investors because it makes them wiser than ever.

We can't really erase the fact that many people intend to scam for them to gain money. This is really we do invest with risk. So inorder to minimize risk you need to do further research for a safe investment.

When there is no proper regulation and there is so many people investing money in everything, fraudulent activities will continue to flourish in the crypto. The bad thing is that, due to an absence of unambiguous regulation frameworks, scam ICOs and fraudulent actions can't be successfully deterred (no laws = no clear criminal or civil penalties for committed fraud or other dishonesty offenses), and so investors/traders rights can't be properly guarantied.

Most people don't have professional blockchain related knowledge. They can't really understand the technology behind an ICO. The white papers are all technical terms. Many people don't understand white papers, so I think a good ICO project should use a simpler vocabulary to describe their project.

There are a lot of newcomers in this market, and some people know it's enjoying and lure money from these people simply by spending bad ISO, that is collecting money and running away, so you need to be very attentive

From the increasing number of scams on various ICOs, as time goes by., we will all get used on it and will be more familiar with matters relating to the smell of scams on certain ICOs and can choose exactly. It's not a strange thing anymore and it's back to each of us to be able to deal with all that, because anyhow in this world from a good side there must be a negative side.
