Yes thats absolutely right,thats why we need to be careful in choosing the right icos by doing research and have a dip knowledge with it, there are little icos that are not legit but base on my experience right now mostly are promising one.

Scam coins are everywhere. When you get into that very bad situation of course you will feel disappointed because all of your efforts are not been paid off but I think you may use that experience to be more careful and be more wiser than you were before. Don't trust so easily there are so many people who wants money by scams!  Read and study a lot.

Yes, there are many scam in crypto world. we're now in new era of digital assets, and many people trying to scam other one who don't have good knowledge or spend enough research to the one they are trying to investing into.
and some other people think too greedy then they all become victim of scammers.

To be honest, a lot of ICOs nowadays are easily identifiable if they're scams or ponzis. The whitepaper is too good to be true and the team behind it is trash, then obviously, the ICO will definitely be a pure failure. Never ever skip reading the whitepaper.

actually it's not a scam I guess, it's just less token holder and it will make altcoin is dead and can not enter the exchange and things that can be an exchange, and it also does not can be used as an investment or trade. then what do you think is meant by the scam.

This incident is very disappointing.
I can not understand why these people are willing to commit fraud against the beginner in Bitcoin.
Indeed the incident cannot be prevented but we as Cryptocurrency users should increase the vigilance against the ICO Project that commits fraud.
The development of Cryptocurrency has made the ICO project evolve as well and there are negative developments such as fraud.
