It is disgusting but it is the world we live in. People will always try and take advantage of others and seek to only benefit themselves, survival of the fittest. Most people getting scammed need to do better research. So many people investing in projects with no real product, just some fancy words on a paper, then get upset when it is a scam. Lets not even mention people getting caught by ponzi schemes....

it is true but its all part of life. lets just thank that crypto is here for easy money than doing day job.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Yes, there are a lot of ICOs out there that are not real and just scams. They are taking advantage of the people who wants to earn, some even promises quick money that is why a lot of people are falling into these scams, who wouldn't want to get a quick route for easy money.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

i agree with you. Nowadays, most of the ICO are scam that's why we need to be more careful about it. Before joining any ICO project we should research about that project,Whitepaper, their team etc that help us to know about that project and also we can shares scam project by this Forum which helpful for everyone.

The presence of scam coins worsens the reputation of the market as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce methods of regulation, but this contradicts the free market policy. So investors need to be smarter and not give money to dishonest projects.

It is sad.  I don't know how I could live with myself knowing I caused so much suffering to people.  It is easy to pull off ICO scams so the allure is there and unfortunately there are people who either are born with no prosocial emotions or empathy or just didn't learn that others are just as sentient and concious and don't want to suffer as well - so they do.  I just hope some of them change their mind and give back the money though that will likely only happen in cases where they become threatened.  Hopefully more crackdowns will occur.

therefore we must be intelligent, conscientious and careful. do not do anything in a hurry and without research or you will be destroyed. not all ico is a scam, we have to be really good at choosing ico.

It is the sad truth about ICO's nowadays, just because most of the ICO's are pure scam, that is why others bounty decided to become a scam also for them to earn more profits, how pathetic they are. But things are not always going to be favor for them, there is a thing called KARMA, they'll get what they deserve for scamming people.

Their number have increased rapidly and that is unfortunate. One thing I know is that the older you are in crypto, the easier it becomes for you to identify them. First tip  is always to check if the core team can reveal their identity through YouTube videos about the project.

Every investment is somehow a business. Some people invest willing to get profit, others cheat for the same reason. That’s why people should be careful.

In the cryptocurrency market, the benefits of fraudsters are enormous. If they can successfully commit fraud, they may become wealthy overnight and will not be subject to any sanctions.

The problem is that no one controls this environment. But it's a matter of time, I think there will be fewer skams in the near future.

All boils down to regulations, this space is still young and highly volatile on the other hand. For the crypto space to be firm against scam coins, there has to be really strong regulations against just any ICO, the requirements should make it work at the end of the day.

It's just that now it is very easy to believe, there are so many scammers that it is difficult to believe that there is an ICO that will not deceive you.

Scam projects have indeed recently begun to seriously fill our crypto-currency world. This is not good and everyone understands this, but what can you offer in order to avoid it? How can we kill the scam projects?
