It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

There are coming new system and restrictions on how to restrict these people from scamming people using ICO and there are also some thread and some groups that exposes scam ICO, developers of these ICO are now getting wiser and cunning they know how to set up an ICO that looks legit in the eyes of the investors.

for beginners, it is advisable to understand the overall explanation of ICO from the understanding of reading whitepapers, getting to know the ICO team, and accessing information on telegram
indeed if for beginners it is more advisable to learn more about the ICO, because usually the beginner has not fully studied and made conclusions.

maybe we should be more careful about it. so how can we distinguish that ICO is genuine or fake?
maybe you have a way that you can share in this forum.

As far as I know, there are several methods to check whether an ICO is a fake or a good ICO.
1. Check the value of the site through the following pages. Ex: https://www.alexa.com
2. Check the domain name registration of the project. Usually scam projects have a very short registration period.
3. Check the team working on the project and the information of the staff working there.
4. You can continue to check out the whitepaper of this project. Often projects of good size, whitepaper are long and full
On top of that, some of my experiences will hopefully help you in evaluating a potential ICO or scam project.

I am also shocked that so many scammers have divorced the crypto currency market. Not only do they carry you into your wallet. So also there were fraudulent coins. It is necessary to be very watchful.

Newbies are the number one victims of ICO scam. I advise that newbies should be familiarize first with crypto related matters. Read articels, do thorough research and seek advice from those well-known and professional in crypto. We cannot prevent scam because there will always be those people who are such greedy.

Over the past few months, I have already encountered four disastrous projects. Including problems arose because of insufficient qualification of specialists, bad ideas, fake concepts and other problems. Therefore, you need to be as careful and attentive as possible when choosing the right project.

As long as you aren't investing in the scams and supporting them, you should do okay with crypto trading.

There are way too may of them now, people have seen that there is a lot of money to be made from bringing out their own coins so the have flooded the market with scam coins and now the investors are the ones paying the price for it. To distinguish a fake ICO one of their first tells is that they are always making promises that they do not have the means to keep.

Yes, right, the popularity of cryptocurrency makes a lot of ICO fraud scams that make many people lose, it's better if we want to invest in ICO first to learn and rethink when wanting to invest in ICOs. Choose an ICO that is really careful not to be fooled.

At all times there were people who wanted to earn on the ignorance and stupidity of other people. All investors need to take risks into account and diversify their investments.

Unfortunately because of many fraudulent projects can now be found but investors must learn to analyze the ICO in order not to lose their money.

At the moment i really feel so confused and uneasy about scams everywhere. If this happens investors and Bounty will not believe in the campaign. Two days before the member Jr members downgraded on the reliability does not contribute to purge this situation. So we suggest that enviroment is fresh and dirty.

Yes, it so hard to believe now in an ICO, because there are some ICO's that intended to scam people. I agree what you said there are also bounty managers that promoting a scam ICO's. So it hard to believe now if you will invest in an ICO. You need to more wiser now on choosing ICO.

This is not surprising. There are many fraudsters in our lives, not to mention unregulated markets such as crypto. As long as there is a place where profits can be generated, there will be fraudsters. You don't know?So we need to be especially careful here, because if we don't pay attention, we will be deceived.

I have already seen so many scams and shitcoins that even if they collected tens of millions, they did not invest a cent in the development of the project. I will refrain from any investment, I'm tired of losing money in ICO

Yes, the case of the crypto world is like this. However, there is basically no solution to this problem, and there will be scammers in places where there are interests. This has been since ancient times. What we can do is be careful, don't fall into the trap.

The coins that are now removed must have an inspection system. With 1 waves you can create your own token. Therefore, the value of projects like KOMODO is increasing.

Humans are always greedy. Although there are many fraudsters, we should learn to invest cautiously, learn more about trading techniques and how to identify false ICOs!
