What amount did you start to trade?

I start with nothing on bitcoin due to my knowledge i learn about to have free earn bitcoin in a faucets and a little mining to have a capital on trading. I start in amount of .0027 satoshi and i grow it into .0035 and that's my first profit of trading and i proud of it.

It can be a good idea.You can join first some legit bounty campaigns and the profit you will make could be you starting capital for your first trading.It does not make sense to start with a big capital at first knowing it can give you a large profit,for me start with a capital you can afford to lose.

It depends upon person to person on how much can he / she invest to start the trading. I think it is advisable to start with the less amount and increase the trading capital once he gains good profit and experience.

There's nothing exact amount recommended in trading if you investing huge amount you can get huge amount of earnings but don't forget the high risk of loses small investment small loses if ever.

I don’t think you should be calculating it in BTC, there is no need for that. You know how much you have and you can decide to trade with $100 or so. One bitcoin is $6000plus this time around and not everyone can afford that, especially those that are living in countries where the economy is bad. So you can decide to buy $500 to $1000 worth of Bitcoin use it for the trading, but not all of them at once, $100 or $200 is good amount to start with.

The amount you mentioned is to small to start online trading. With a reasonable amount to make you trade confidentially. Rather learn how to trading and trade through simulation and maintain a cordial relationship with your mentor who can still be of help to you till your confidence will adequate to trade live.
