Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?

6 months? No. It is not normal. Even if they had announced it earlier, such delays are neither acceptable nor ethical. Nowadays a lot of these bounty campaigns are taking the participants for a ride. Experienced members are no longer showing much interest in these campaigns.

I think you don't need to wait until 6 month, blacklist that bounty manager and find another bounty campaign is better than only waiting on a failed project. Usually we can received our reward around 2 weeks - 1 month after ICO end. Sometime after we received the token we must wait for the exchange too, doing bounty campaign is hard and so tired for waiting. So i think the solution is doing as much as you can and careful choosing the company you work with.

That is if you haven't joined yet. But for those who have already joined and completed the task for the duration of the campaign, he will have to wait depending to the team's plan of the distribution. You'd be lucky to have only waited for 6 months some are even waiting for more than a year. You'd be boiling when you don't get paid when you expect to buy something out of the money you will get.

Mostly they distribute less than 6 months after ico finish. If more than 6 months i think they will not pay the bounty. Maybe they are scammers.

Isn’t the bounty usually paid after one month? I always participate in the bounty event and look at the promised payment time. If it is six months, I think it is too long.

In their stream there is a message that payments can be expected after the sixth of June. We have to wait. Maybe they will pay, and maybe they will not pay it.

6 months that's too long to wait maybe that is scam ICO, normally from bounty campaigns waiting 1 or 3 months to get your reward, but 6 months don't expect that you will get your reward and just move on to another bounty campaign.

If it will last for six months there may be no more payment to be received or maybe the project is dead. But it is normal to wait for the payment of money but as far as the last for six months it is no longer normal for me because bounty prizes will only last for one to two months for some legitimate reasons

In my experience, usually the coins are paid a maximum of 2 months after the end of the ICO.  Sometimes earlier.

Six months is way too long to wait for a bounty reward. Contact the bounty manager and see what the hold up is all about, It could be that they have paid others and might have missed you and if it turns out that it is one of those bounties that never pay the rewards they promised, then at least you would know and can move on to other projects without having to worry about that one all the time.

Actually that time is very long in my opinion when someone is working on a gift because with the duration long is sometimes the problem often in the participants starting from the reduction of the allocation fund there are coin prices that have low exchange rates so that the hard work of participants will be futile when not getting satisfactory results.

Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

Its normal depending on the platform, you can always look at the platform before investing a huge amount or waiting for the campaign to end since i assume that you are participating on a bounty campaign, there are always a different feedback about how the manager works so read their previous managed campaign.

I participated in Hirematch ICO from September till November and they still haven't payed anything for bounty hunters. More of that, they haven't yet updated the spreadsheet, saying that it takes a lot of time to check everything. Probably they just don't plan to pay anything.

It's the same case with me, I've been wait too long for the payment from them. So many reason they said when I ask about the payment. But 2months ago, I'm join bounty and 1month after the bounty over, they give me a rewards, so fast than the others.

I guess this is a thing about bounties. Waiting in vain for our tokens to be distributed for months and even if the token is in our wallet already, we still need another waiting to be listed in a big exchange and then another waiting for the price hike before we can enjoy our rewards. There are token that are worthy but sad to say there are some some also that are shitcoins.

I have seen some bounties that got delayed to pay their bounty participants,
And you should just wait for it ,There is nothing that we could do as a bounty hunter,
They could turn into a scam and wouldn’t pay us for our work on promoting them.

Normally almost every bounty takes one month time or little bit more but wait for 6 month is not normal. campaigns might be dead and project dropped due to some reasons or might be scam.

2-3 month is ok but 6 months means you will not get the enough shares of bounty as too many people will join the campaign on this time period

Most of the project paid bounty reward within 1 month, but not all of them, some project paid immediately after tokens sale ends, but my long wait for receive bounty reward is 2 month,  6 month really long, I think it's a tokens lock and it's already write in project whitepapers or bounty thread, you need to check before joined the bounty campaign
