nobody is angry at the projects themselves (i am talking about real coins not the obvious scam or crap coins). people are angry at people. for example when some dumb idiot keeps creating new accounts to create new topics for saying some shitcoin is better than bitcoin just because it was pumped in last week that makes everyone angry.
otherwise i am sure everyone here is open to real discussions based on technical merit not just price and how pump and dump is going on over in altcoin market

You have to be very careful and try to double-think everything you read, since many write here things only in an attempt to manipulate others. It's not hate, it's money.

Then yes, there are some really thinking that all alts are worthless, but that's some sort of shallow-elitist view on the crypto world, because the "gem"-altcoins are surrounded by a lot of "dirt".

Well I as an individual has not notice the division you are taking about yet but to say that there is a division you may be right while the first set of people you mentioned are against altcoins and see it as a garbage is due to the fact that most of this tokens ended being pump and dump there by giving the whole crypto community bad image.

I think it's normal in our society that there are good-side and bad-side in a specific story especially in bitcoin that is already far enough on it's journey so we can't skip the fact that there will be someone who will make or oppose bitcoin so that it would go down that's why for now it's up to people either they continue bitcoin or transfer to other altcoins.

Bitcoin is definitely the top coin in terms of value and market capitalization. But it doesn't mean you'll earn most with it. Only the rich can afford to buy Bitcoin at its current price and still earn huge profit from it. But for small time traders like many of us, altcoins would be the practical choice. Undervalued alts with small market caps are the best choices. But this is usually for long term. But like many said, patience is key.

First and foremost let us discuss how many alternative coins are out there in the market. You are lucky if you have jumped into a coin who luckily increases its value but what if its value decreases or there is no growth at all. Another thing is that you want to buy a certain coin in its cheapest value available and that is during the ICO, but there are many scam ICO's anywhere and a large percentage of ICO does not end up successfully and ends up in a failure.

There are also coins that after their market crashed they did not go up anymore and become stagnant. With these reasons it is much better to invest on bitcoin rather than on altcoins. If bitcoin crashes all other altcoins crashes but if bitcoin increases in value not all altcoins increases in value. This is one of the reason why people prefer bitcoin over altcoins.

But all back to each other. If they are investors of altcoin have often invested in altcoin they would already know and understand which token is not potential and which token is potentially. And investors from altcoin can definitely compare which ICO scam and where the ICO is legit.
But there are also investors who invest in altcoin and bitcoin.

Coins mentioned above don't have the same purpose. ETH was created because of smart contracts, Ripply for interbank transactions, Monero for privacy, Dash for payment systems and private transactions.

Bitcoin and other alt-coin are a function of investment or trading, with a difference motive of information and many people go for area of protective wallet, and as they name be, is how the wallet are different, but served the same purpose in world with a difference smart contract address as the case may be.

The problem is not like that. I believe some altcoins have good prospects and can make people rich. The problem lies in the reputation and history of the movement of each coin. Bitcoin is much more reliable than the altcoin you mentioned above, the altcoin is just a pump and dump activity by people who are in control of the influence of price movements ie the whales. I personally prefer bitcoin over altcoin because bitcoin is much closer to acceptable to society but I do not hate altcoin because sometimes I take the opportunity to benefit from it

Actualy there only few of them like that and most of us here specialy me i do like bitcoin at the same time i like altcoins too but not all altcoins i like some of them i hate too because there are some altcoin who only scam people and wasting our time and effort some of them are garbage.

The anger is not on the whole alt coin ecosystem, but because of those fraudulent alt coins that does nothing but dupe newbies. Because of such alt coin that are mere scams and dupe people, the reputation of other alt coins also gets at risk.
Bitcoin being the first and foremost cryptocurrency with maximum userbase and maximum value happens to stand out from the crowd by getting the founders benefit. Other coins arent yet really being able to develope the level of trust into their users which bitcoin have done.

Its not hate but its kind of a disliking because many altcoins are just populating crypto market without actually adding a meaningfull and substantial value in the system by bring in new innovations.

Hehe, these guys are named as "bitcoin maximalists"   We also have Larimer Witnesses, Ethereum Brotherhood and Patagonists of the Charlie Lee's second coming to LTC

A lot of altcoin's value is not present yet, but they are well publicised, and there is money to control the price, so this kind of encryption can still be invested.
