Looks all good to me guys. On block 8112 now  Grin

Yep, Just looks like a case of either a individual with a extremely large hash rate jumping ship, or one or more of the pools having issues and dropping the hash rate.

8112   12-11 07:56:00   1   150.0   586.255004883   319
8111   12-11 07:48:09   4   52049.98047   2760.3046875   2311
8110   12-11 00:36:50   1   150.0   2795.75415039   319

There was about 7 hours between block 8110 and block 8111. In block 8112 the difficulty dropped by about 2174.

This shows that the difficulty adjustment in Cubits is running like it should. There is no way to adjust the difficulty "mid-mine" so to speak, so when block 8111 was solved the difficulty algo reduced the Difficulty to 586.

It can happen just by varience but also but also by the fact that this a small network of hashers.

a net work is at 25GH/s then 50GH/s miner starts mining as blocks are found Diff goes up until in balance for 75GH/s network.

Then Mr 50GH/s leaves mid block.  diff is still set high so it will probably take much longer to finish block. next block diff adjusts up to max but still might not be enough so a less hard but still to hard for 25GH/s network to solve. but after a few block diff is back in balance.

You don't see that on bitcoin as 50GH/s is much too small it would need to be 100's of TH/s to be noticed. it would have to be in the PH/s range to mach my example.
