There is no wallet file. Think of it more like a brainwallet. Just make sure your pick a good long pass phrase.

oh ok, good to know that Smiley

It doesn't like my unlock phrase anymore:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: URLDecoder: Illegal hex characters in escape (%) pattern - For input string: "&$"

Version 0.3.9 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67242472/nxt.zip

Fixed double URL decoding.

Does it work?

Can I access my wallet from another PC?

Why not take 100M NXT and write a script to randomly distribute the coins, say in 1000NXT chunks to randomly selected accounts from the Block Explorer.
1. Block Explorer see only accounts that was used in transactions. So you need to get your first coin in some way to be in blockchain.
2. No one outside your server knows that your account is active in mining.
3. Unactive account can be forsaken or just frozen for better days - no one knows it.

So it's definitely not an easy task to spend money that way.

The other way is to make money "from air" like some hybrid PoW+PoS system do (PPC and NVC for example). But it is just another economical model, with other problems...

max coin amount?

premine?
- its first of second generation coins. 100% PoS. 1 bil NXTs in existence. This is cap. No inflation at all. PoS "mining" ("forging") is from transaction fees only.

is it american billions? = 1.000.000.000 is this correct?

so when even a smart phone can mine, which factor decides how much coins the miner get (random? all miners are equal?)

So what about the premine?

Read the thread again - there was no premine. I am getting tired of this bullshit. If you don't like it invest elsewhere.

Another question for 100k NVC Cheesy
Man, there is NO WALLET in usual terms (like in Bitcoin). There is no difference on what server you unlock your account.

And, yes, you can use your own server - and I highly recommend you to use only your one - if you make it visible outside. But the way you can do it depends on you environment: OS, connection type, firewalls and so on.

Version 0.3.8 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67242472/nxt.zip

Rewritten web interface networking.

Now HTTP & HTTPS can be used (http://localhost:7874 & https://localhost:7875). The latter is preferable if u use "online" wallet. Browsers will show warning coz TLS certificate is self-signed, try to add it into the certificate vault to get rid of the warning.

Where is the online wallet? It's not working.

http://localhost:7874  or https://localhost:7875

That's not the online wallet.

Where is it please?

There's no american or russian billions Smiley
In some languages we just speak another word, but billion is billion = 1.000.000.000

so when even a smart phone can mine, which factor decides how much coins the miner get (random? all miners are equal?)
The more coins you have, the more probability you have to mine the block.

So what about the premine?
Think just... it's not a premine, it's like bitcoin will be in year 2040 or so, when there will be no "coinbase" transactions, only fees.

The question was a bit vague... however you're free to actually answer the question how you interpret it  Tongue

I should say the great NxT Block Explorer!

It's not based on/forked from BBE, ABE or blockexplore, blockchain.info, but a new brand explorer.

It goes here: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=10

However, I do suggest change the last column(Generator)'s color, don't be the same color of the second column.

Hmm, is this mining ratio accurate?

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=1189825904251106372

I see the footnote, but surely it's not 0...right?

Think just... it's not a premine, it's like bitcoin will be in year 2040 or so, when there will be no "coinbase" transactions, only fees.

that is not correct, in germany 1 billion is 1.000.000.000.000
(1000 times more worth than american billions. in germany american billions are equal to the word "milliarde")
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales

So the overall coin amount gives a higher percentage to find a block, how is this percentage scaled, linear or logarythmic?
For example i have 10.000 NXT (%=?) or when i have 1.000.000 (%=?)

Premine can't be figured out "just by thinking" usually a proof is served by the founder of the coin  Smiley
