22k.io: nxt alias browser and url shortenerI've made some updates to support "mailto" and "acct". acct: displays an account page with balance and list of aliases as 22k links. example uri: "acct:4915862015826193000@nxt". http://22k.io/acct22kIf you want to see links for all of your aliases in one place: 1. create an aliases with the uri: "acct:YOURACCOUNTNUMBERHERE@nxt" 2. wait a little bit for propagation 3. check http://22k.io/YOURALIASI'll hack on more URI type later today. Please let me know how it works. Fun giveaway! I'll send 5 nxt to the first 10 people that assign aliases to their public accounts and PM me with a 22k.io link.

Thanks for your recommendation! Donations are of course always appreciated and an extra incentive to keep going. ( 3209075099254042753 ) I'm working on another new tool, hopefully I can get it ready today. I need some people to run their nodes with bot access enabled for this to work though. I do not work on super huge projects that take months to develop, rather smaller projects that help grow the community and are in the spirit of open-source. Hey Wesley, I can open bot nodes on a couple of my VPS if you need to test.. PM me Your balance is above 10000, you cannot receive any coins from this faucet. Sorry. aZz XD

for the alias system in the future there must be a search engine to find who owns an alias (and register it if it doesn't) and his contact details just like DNS so you can buy the name you want
there will be.. soon if wesley gets on it

It's so strange today. My block chain was stuck, and then I deleted all the directory and unziped 0.4.7. However, it still stuck at 24225, and there are 32 active peers and 630 known peers. What's the problem?
How many with green flags? Show log of ur console plz. Many green flags, and the log is as following, which shows connection time out. Here's a script to automate the nxt software installation under linux. The feedback I got after publishing nextcoinbox was that people were reluctant to use it, being afrad that it might contain malware. I've now added a script you can run in any linux environment with java 7 available, including (and even preferably) live CDs. Check it at http://nextcoinbox.github.io/nextcoinbox/ and let me know what you think! PS: My next project was a web redirection service based on aliases, but just read ferment beat me to it. Oh well, I'll find something else then :-) well done ferment!

This coins doesn't even have a wallet? And you want people to go to your exchange and buy your non-existent coins off of you? Why not wait until you have the coins and then sell them? (but you are the saviors of all of bitcoins 'problems' ? ) Do you understand what Page 1 means? 200 million Nxt has been traded and this guys says we have no wallet

It seems I was ignored buyingbat 0.00007! Now the price is lower and will fall even more. Anyone selling me 125k at 0.000068? Save yourself if you are not here for the long term. Ensure your investment capital back!
Lophie is buying 125k nxt at 0.000068btc each! Omg so wow!

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

Hey, I wrote a small script with the help of wesley's server. Wesley, if I'm not allowed to use your server, please write me a PM! How to: 1.) Go to the Chrome Settings and click on "Manage search engines..." 2.) Make a new search engine with: "NXT Alias System", "NXT", " http://alias.coinarea.net/?alias=%s" 3.) Test it! Type NXT in the addressbar, delete every other input and press TAB. Then type in google, it should redirect you to http://google.com! Or type in coinarea, it should redirect you to http://coinarea.net! Have fun! Here is the Nextcoin.org forum link with sourcecode!

I have an idea which would help distribute some of your Nxt and also help Nxt develop for the long term.
We will start a contest where the 10 best ideas for a client feature or application which would help Nxt grow over the next 5 years.
We would be open to entries from all Nxters and the community will vote for the best 10 ideas which would get funding.
The development fund would be managed by those currently in charge of the bounty program.
10 idea's each get 200,000 NXT to implement their feature or application to the Nxt ecosystem.
Total Development Fund Needed: Nxt 2,000,000
I can immediately start the thread where idea's can be deposited....Final voting can begin in a weeks time.
What do you guys think?
Make sure you start itas a moderated thread
