I just heard from klee!
There is hope yet. Just need a few more founders and I will be able to continue.

James

P.S. peercover no fees for deposit, withdrawal (automatic) or trade. Model is to cover costs from forging

This made me happy Smiley

While PaulyC has the right to have that kind feeling, I just don't feel it is justified given all the community effort to find out the hacker, demand him to give back the money and contribute money to the victims. That shows how the community cared a lot about this issue.

I'm not trying to stifle any other exchanges, but my dgex.com has been fine tonight..
maybe because I'm already logged in? I dunno..

Try to trade, it won't work.

I haven't tried to trade tonight.. good point, just market watching and clicking windows.

DGEX back online. With stunning new...ishlylooking old design. I think, they updated the animated gif background  Kiss

Just saw dgex was down

I think that makes https://peercover.com/#/simpleGateway the only place to trade NXT. Based on my urging the guys at peercover worked through the holidays to make a NXT trade page. It is built on ripple and so no centralized server.

So far there is very little volume on ripple. I had asked the founders to create some inventory, but nobody did. I don't have enough NXT to make a deep market, but since it is the only place to trade NXT now, maybe more people will use it?

James

P.S. I will still post when I can

That is because the 'donars' or whatever you call them are greedy. They don't care about the future of NXT as long as they bank big. Who blames them, I probably would have as well. But greed and fragmentation is ruining this coin.

I'm afraid I myself done trading on dgex. More than 1 BTC in withdrawal fees total, I'm still waiting for my BTC withdrawal from yesterday, and this disabling login without so much as a line of explanation thing really pissing me off.

But still, I don't wanna trade in Ripple. Smiley

dgex problems again...
DGEX is a disaster.  They never sent me my approx 1,200 NXT, i emailed them 2+ weeks ago, they replied 1 week later to the effect of "we trust your issue has been resolved".  I emailed them back and said it has not, and no reply.  Just stole my BTC.

I agree they also cancelled possibility to withdraw NXT  for free - I ask why 1,4% its worse than banking fees!!! even Bank America has lower fees. And especially from somebody who apparently came in into NXT from the beginning who don't have to solve financial problems for the rest of his life
well OK, its his offer we don't have to visit Dgex, but don't you think that 1,4% withdrawal fee is very high??

It is. Nxt withdrawal should be free! Graviton!

DGEX Fees starting from 2013-11-28 applicable for now
NXT BUY and SELL: 0%
NXT deposits: 0%
BTC deposits: 0%
NXT cashouts: 1.4%
BTC cashouts: 1.4% to 3.2%
(instant) min. 0.0005 BTC

have you ever seen it? 3.2% fee for BTC Is it a joke?

besides all this now the Dgex is down....

THIS my friends THIS is a scandal!
I will never put one NXT or BTC to that exchange no matter what happen!
I checked it and it seems that they are not going to change it soon - it is their business model - trade for free but then you are cashed when leaving

No problem with trading fees. They are overdue to get a correct idea about market volume - which is lower without people riding the spread. Withdrawal fees just smell like trying to keep people in NXT.

I have some sell orders up on peercover for those buyers suffering from NXT withdrawal while dgex is down.

Feel free to sell into my buy at 3 Wink

well, what you guys expect, dgex is a business, it's for a profit, don't like it - there are other exchanges Smiley or set up your own. Doing manual withdrawals, covering losses from his own pocket and dealing with 300 emails per day must be a nightmare.

DGEX seems to be acting in a short-term perspective.
They are ruining their reputation which should be worth a lot once more and more people join Nxt.

whatever the reason is, we only care how people react after the release.
