guys I am going to sell on https://nxtchg.com/ and I just wanted to ask you is it good and functional with REAL nxt right now? is it automated? Because I will NOT use it if it is manual bullshit.

I'm not sure. My deposits and withdrawals appeared to be automatic (few minutes). Or maybe admin was just active and fast to approve.

All trading worked.

I'm rebuilding my VPS; and the wiki points to 0.4.9e  while page 1 of this thread points to 0.4.8.  Is 0.4.9e  from http://info.nxtcrypto.org/nxt-client-0.4.9e.zip    safe?

Berlin Conference - EXHIBIT SPACE / PROMOTIONAL ITEM DISTRIBUTION (??)

Guys, what do you think about paid promoting in the Bitcoin conference in Berlin?

There are 2 possibilities (narknark found them):

Quote
EXHIBIT SPACE (Limited) €2200 / $3,000* Includes:
2×3 metre (approx. 6×10 ft.) raw exhibit space, table and two chairs and an Exhibitor Service Manual.
Includes:
Listing as an exhibitor on the website and in other promotional materials as available
Two free full-conference passes for staff members
20% off conference passes for additional staff members.

Quote
PROMOTIONAL ITEM DISTRIBUTION (Limited) €1,000 / $1,500*
Distribute your company’s advertising material, flyer, or ad-specialty item directly into the hands of every conference attendee. You’ll gain exposure at the event and your message will travel home with each conference attendee.
Please note: The sponsoring company is responsible for creating, producing, and delivering the promotional item by an established deadline. Rising Media must approve item. Items not allowed: pens, notebooks/notepads, or lanyards.

Right now we have lots of graphic designers and also some writers who could write the concepts... But would it be worth it? And are we able to pay for it?

There will probably be: mcjavar, salsacz, narknak and Lurning (from Berlin). It means that at least one member should really come (Cheesy) and someone (Lurning) could bring there printed materials before the conference starts.

Any suggestions?

Nextcoin topic about the Conference: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1518.msg21724.html#msg21724

There was no reply on this post. Has got anyone any opinion about this? Both promotional items are limited...

NEWS

The last chance to claim unclaimed coins is over.

We have ~13M coins left and they'll be spent for rewards, bounties and development. Now we are running a reward program. I ask the community to post here links (with short description and link to BTT profile) to projects/persons that helped to promote Nxt. Only projects launched before the 3rd of Jan can apply. There will be several categories, BCNext will choose 3 best participants from each category. I'll contact project owners via BTT personal message to get Nxt account ids for reward payments. The 1st place will receive 50'000, 2nd - 30'000 and 3rd - 20'000 NXT.

Wow last time I read this thread I was contemplating sending one BTC...and then I forgot about it.  And now I see this thread and realize I made a $3 million mistake.  Wow...I feel sick to my stomach.

I know what you mean.  I used to just lurk the bitcoin forums -- stop by about once a month or so and read random posts for about an hour maybe.  I didn't even bother registering.  This thread is what convinced me to register a nick to start posting.

Had I seen BCNext's post, which I missed, I likely would have sent a fraction of a bitcoin his way.  Oh well, that's just how it is.

Agree ... but till than we have to survive.

Guys, why don't you change that terrible design on https://forums.nxtcrypto.org?

My eyes hurt, I am afraid I will get a headache if I look at it for too long.

Black background is rarely used on major public sites outside niches, like gaming.

Agreed. I was excited to find a new forum and barely made it through the registration process. Haven't read/posted there since the first visit.

Would really like an active NXT forum to participate in... as much as I like this thread, it's unwieldy and tough to keep up with.

Busy changin the lay out as we speak. please be patient.
