So far we are a handful of "activists" over at nextcoin.org that is responsible for the majority of PR for NXT. It seems PR has been neglected completely which we decided had to be stopped and so we stepped up. Sadly we have recieved almost no NXT to make our jobs easier.
But we have managed to get infographics, videos, a press release that is currently being sent to several different news sources, especially those that are involved with cryptocurrencies.

Uniqueorn, I just posted some preliminary business card designs in the Activism forum. Others are free to look at, offer suggestions, ridicule, etc:

https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2326.0.html

They're simple, nothing fancy.

I do have some pretty cool flyers cooking up... I hope to do a flyer with a few alternates, as well as some different things like tri-folds, etc. The kind of stuff you see at corporate expos, trade shows, etc. Today (Sunday) is my last day of work and will be off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I hope to have some preliminary things to show Mon January 5 to get some ideas going and hopefully some final, community-approved designs by Wednesday.

Nice, I like them.
Will definitely be important for Bitcoin conferences that are upcoming.

Get e-mail alerts when your account finds a block or when there is any transaction, no need to keep client running.
URL: http://mynxt.info/

Mr. Abu,
is it possible to add email alert based on Nxt price? Smiley And Android App with Alarm? Cheesy

Hm.. what kind of alert based on Nxt price would you like to see? When the price crosses a user defined threshold?

Why 0.5.0 is still not in Bitcointalk official topic, nextcoin.org official topics and neither in nxtcrypto.org site?
+1

I didn't even see the post/announcement by JLP. Is there a change log, significant feature addition or just general stability and bug fixes?

Think I read somewhere that he could NOT find the mysterious darkNXT bug that sent (sends?) funds into the nether regions of the blockchain...

I also posted two quick flyers for Miami:

https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2183.0.html

Contacted bitcoin miami and asked them for a hi-res eps file.

Will start the corporate stuff tomorrow when my time off begins.

@CFB - why would getTransaction sometimes not returning a full json object including "confirmations" key/value pair?

'block' is also missing in these cases.

It means that the transaction is not confirmed.

Why not return "confirmations" : 0 then?

BOUNTY VOTE TOTALS

I have tallied all the votes since CfB announced the bounty fund and put them into a spreadsheet.  These are accurate up to post #14556.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkfSNgBIzmvXdC1GYXE0QkpyY3lROFhXWTZSamNVVGc&usp=sharing

Please exclude me from the list as well, as I'm up to my capacity for nodes now and already received donations to maintain those. There are other guys who deserve to get that bounty.

dgex problems again...
DGEX is a disaster.  They never sent me my approx 1,200 NXT, i emailed them 2+ weeks ago, they replied 1 week later to the effect of "we trust your issue has been resolved".  I emailed them back and said it has not, and no reply.  Just stole my BTC.

I agree they also cancelled possibility to withdraw NXT  for free - I ask why 1,4% its worse than banking fees!!! even Bank America has lower fees. And especially from somebody who apparently came in into NXT from the beginning who don't have to solve financial problems for the rest of his life
well OK, its his offer we don't have to visit Dgex, but don't you think that 1,4% withdrawal fee is very high??

It is. Nxt withdrawal should be free! Graviton!

DGEX Fees starting from 2013-11-28 applicable for now
NXT BUY and SELL: 0%
NXT deposits: 0%
BTC deposits: 0%
NXT cashouts: 1.4%
BTC cashouts: 1.4% to 3.2%
(instant) min. 0.0005 BTC

have you ever seen it? 3.2% fee for BTC Is it a joke?

besides all this now the Dgex is down....

THIS my friends THIS is a scandal!
I will never put one NXT or BTC to that exchange no matter what happen!

I checked it again and sent 1000 NXT to myself and we are back at 1.4% for the cheapest withdrawals
yes I paid 14 NXT - try it yourself
despite Dgex is promising https://dgex.com/fees.htm "only" 1.2% (what is in my opinion skyhigh anyway)
and if you hurry, lets pay 3.2% on BTC for fast withdrawal
- even Citibank who feeds managers and thousands of employees has lower fees on withdrawals - I was fool when I didnot check the fees carefully at the beginning -
when I think about comparing fees on Cryptsy or MtGox or Bitstamp (it has zero if you send btc away) or BTCe ..... this is uncomparable
- taking into account that Dgex has in fact monopoly, if early adopters want to sell some coins they have practically the only option and also volume is not so low (I would bet hundreds of BTC every day) I cant understand it....  Huh
The fees are everytime changed without prior notice and I will not recalculate if I am paying 0.17% or 0.25% or anything else for every trade - in fact whom do you want complain - you can blame only yourself !

I have already bought NXT which I want to keep for future and with a small part of the coins which I will be trading I am moving away to trade them at https://nxtchg.com/
happy trading at Dgex Grin

and now they closed completely
Trading has been halted due to automated attacks on the DGEX trading platform. Thank you for your patience while we work on enabling trading ASAP.
Cashouts are unavailable while DGEX works on enabling systems to withstand malicious attacks on the trading platform. Thank you for your patience.

There is an error with my name. Under "sites" there should be CoinArea and not weibo.com Wink

Who is the owner of Peercover NXT/XRP exchange?

Edit: Did they conduct REAL NXT trades?

jl777 might have the answer to both your questions.

Is there anything a normal end user can see of Transparent Mining? Does it has any visible benefits? How can I see if it was really implemented? Thank you for your help guys!

3. There is one or more completely independent hacker(s) out there who took the 300K NXT from five accounts as part of a completely different heist and is laughing at all of us right now because we are not even on their trail yet.

This possibility is why I provided the SHA256 hashes of all my previous NRS downloads, for others to check against theirs.

I was not as diligent in checking my client hashes as I should have been, myself.

My hashes can be found here:

Hi, I'm new here.

Had a problem: I had two chances of forging the block, but both time it was not forged, recent blocks became with "-" sign and get the error in java console. Had to lock account and restart the process. What does it mean: I'm not so lucky or there is another problem? I use 0.5.0 client in windows.

Thank's for answer
