Price dropping like a rock on DGEX.

Nom nom nom!

Same time BTC <> $ is going up so it's almost stable, don't you think?

This is how the cryptomarket usually works. If BTC is rising rapidly, people move their money into BTC instead of other coins, causing these coins to stagnate or drop. When BTC stagnates, then alt-coins have a chance to shine.  There may be a few exceptions here and there, but this is 90% of the cases I've seen.

I agree with c-f-b, cheap coins (at this stage) and panicking large stakeholders may be better in the long run. People who have followed this thread know the potential that will come in the future for NXT, so personally, I'm not worried. NXT is getting more stable by the day, and if we get a second major exchange soon then NXT should have a larger audience.

...we/the market needs something fun during the Nxt 4 weeks....

BCNext offers a fun game to the community.

Taken from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=364218.0

"So, what does make Nxt a really next-gen currency? Not those nice features like decentralized exchange, or decentralized DNS, or decentralized app store. The transparent mining algo does, and this is only the 1st part of BCNext's plan..."

1) What's the 2nd part of the plan?

Yes, Nxt doomed. This trend has replaced old "Bitcoin doomed" trend...

That's a good sign.

Didn't have much time reading here lately. Can someone please recap what happened at dgex lately? DDOS attacks, Nxt stolen and stuff like that.

How many NXT does BCNext own?

I think he mentioned earlier that he would be only one of the stakeholders (5% MAX holding)...so my guess is he is number 2 after Dgex....His may be the account which is always forging.

Hi, today some strange things had happened. I was writing earlier, that I had no luck two times to forge the block and after this recent blocks goes minus with error in command prompt window. Today that happened two times, but without any error in command window and I had to restart everything. What it could be?

Reporting another "issue" with DGEX: I have not received the nxt that, according to the History page, have been sent.

My dgex account number: 2818
Sent to account: 14748981975238803545
Time of request: 4 January  22:37:55
Amount: 59,160 nxt

Maybe I'm using an old block explorer? (Is that even possible?) Can someone verify that this transfer has or has not made it to the account above?

I see two transfers that add up to 69020 that happened today, but not 59160

you can use http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=100 put in your acct # in box

That's what I see. So it's still missing the most recent withdrawal.
I've sent an email to dgex and posted the same note on the nxtcoin.org forum thread, which Graviton seems to be monitoring, so hopefully I'll hear a reply soon. Thank you for double-checking.

Ok, the transfer finally showed up in my account.

So now the question for dgex is: Why do you show "NXT Withdrawal COMPLETED" when it clearly is not even initiated, according to the block explorer?
Let me just get my NXT out of dgex and I'll shut the hell up.

hi, i'm yueye000

Considering  Arbitrary Message is coming soon, I thinking about add more information into the alias, making this system more socialize.
at least we need a avatar.

I hope there is a standard for every client developer, but unfortunately, no standard. so i made this rule:

Alias: yueye
Uri: nxter:acc=5693933960808456307&img=bbyk.sinaapp.com/snake.png

And we can add more, like
nxter:acc=5693933960808456307&img=bbyk.sinaapp.com/snake.png&email=xxx@gmail.com&tel=12334555

I am not sure this is the best way, please tell me if something wrong.

I withdrew nxt from dgex on 2014-01-03 01:29:25. Up to now it has only 3 confirmations and it didnt show up in my balance. Why is that sooo slow? Confirmations within minutes were advertised...

Well, there are other priorities in coding, I am sure. It's just if it's not too much work to add this API, users have to have fun with something for the next 4 weeks, ya know Smiley

If we release new features too fast:
1. Client developers won't be able to go on par with the core features
2. NXT price won't become affordable for ordinary people

These 2 points r vital for success of Nxt.

Yeah sure but what about the competition. Is it totally irrelevant?

Could the avatar be actual pictures of people...like family, friends etc. also?

Edit: Sorry I think "snake.png" answers it...so we can add .png files nice.

C-f-B made an example ones if I remember correctly. It was similar to JSON format.

Nxt has an unfair advantage - BCNext's know-how of Transparent Forging. Only few details of TF has been revealed.

Question for BCnext:
How would you solve problem with scam accusations according to "unfair" distribution Nxt to 73 big stakeholders?
