We would take the first to commit an independent review. We could even have more than 1 review though if funding is sufficiently raised.
I hope funding is sufficiently. I really like the idea of having more than 1 independent review! What I actually can´t understand is why we are giving 10 BTC to one guy, when we could give 5 to two guys making a review... I think $5000 is a lot of money, too. |

There is something I noticed, but didn´t cared about till now, but it is very interesting ... although it is not true (most probably). 1, There was that issue when someone created billions of Nxt out of nowhere using a bug. It was overnight. I noticed, that at that night, you wrote here that you are now going to have some sleep, but if something happens, we shouldn´t panic, you will be online the next morning and will solve the issue. You never did this before, and never did this since that night. Only when that serous bug was found. 2, You told weeks before the 3rd of January that the price will drop hard after the code is released, although everyone expectd the price to go up, as the sourcecode will be open for everyone to examine, which usually drags in more investors. What happened? The price went down from 0.0001 to 0.000035. 3, And now you mentioned several times, that if a flaw is found, it can lead to the destruction of Nxt. You mentioned i at least 4 times in the last 2 days. Do we have to worry... ? |

Seems to me that is overcompensation for the task, but if people are willing to pay that... Just consider the precedent you're setting. What worries me more is that no serious researcher will take on the task. Ittay Eyal is in academics so if he like something, he could set his time to work on it for a few days. Steve Weis, on the other hand, could make more in a few days than what we offer in 10BTC. imho, you guys are seriously underestimate the price of talents. It is not like you are asking some random dudes to "pump" NXT. |

noob question: my tx got only 5 confirmations after a week..is this something to be worry about ?
What is the transaction id? Also, are you basing your 5 confirmations on the block explorer or your actual client? I ask this only because I had a transaction stuck at 5 confirmations based on the blockexplorer, however, my client actually showed a much higher count. This stayed like this for a couple of days but now after checking the blockexplorer the count is correct now. |
