maybe real devs will follow the monero's plan, a new asic for the algo i use? easy, fork to change the algo, guys remember we need true decentralization on this world, if not, satoshi create btc only to see how we (dumb humans) destroy a whole new freedom way to a new economic system. i mean, we love money, but do we want to be at the same state like banks make us belive we own our money? because thats what theyr trying to do, centralize the hashpower like they centralize all the actual economic system. fuck bitmain and asics.

What's your problem, if you are not fine with that you still can hold some POS or Staking Coins and help these coins to go ahead. There are coins for everybody out of the 1.600+ now. If the Asics ruin (due your opinion) these cryptos than you are free to bet on some other, maybe NEO, that does not need any mining at all. Just as an idea

Once we couldn't see antminer s series for years but now we see new antminers almost everytime. They made asic for ether, now they work on this. What's next? Will they offer us a new class of antminer S series?

Well I ordered one, paid on time with LTC and it says order expired now.

Lets see how this plays out..

Same thing .. paid with LTC withing 1h frame and now order shows still unpaid and expired. Blockchain link shows they received payment

I had the same issue this morning paying with BTC. I emailed support but naturally they were not open yet. I checked again about five hours later and my order shows that it is paid and all good. I suspect when the price of the coin you are paying in rises they let it go through, if it drops then they probably ask for more to cover the spread. I mean, I would if I were them.

I don't have any problem, but when you join something that you really like and agree with ideas, something worth to invest time and effort, to maybe change the future, to protest againt our monetary system, bankers, and suddenly everything is like we are fighting against...then you and people who support this are the problem.

Oh, and I almost forgot, Bitmain has bad practices as a seller, I have to write here all or you are smart enought to admit?

Been back-reading some of the posts, how have you guys purchased multiple units? The limit per person when i'm looking at the website is one (1). I know it's easy to create multiple accounts but really 10 or more? Won't they notice the same IP address and delivery address?

Makes me wonder if all these people posting "i've bought 10!" or "i bought multiple units" are bitmain paid shill accounts.

Is Fedex still an option?  I know with the A3s I chose UPS and received mine a few days after the people who used Fedex.  Also had to pay a custom fee but I dont know if thats related to carrier.

I would start a ticket on their support page with screenshots of your transaction completed. It being sent during the time window will show. My transaction now shows complete even though it was listed as expired earlier. There was about seven hours inbetween so give it a few. Creating the support ticket should help with the feeling of needing to do something in the meantime. Once it changes to paid you can go back and close the ticket so as to not waste people's time.

In terms of supporting a single company that ends up dominating the landscape, i think that's a different argument and not one that is all bitmains fault. if you look at the other companies producing asics, they have terrible selling practices. They either require 5 units MOQ or having stupid high prices. If people want more options then those companies need to do a better job of competing and trying to get more business than just the large farms. I gpu mine and I try to get an asic here or there if it looks profitable, but asics aren't going anywhere and trying to fork every coin every time a new asic is created causes more problems than it solves imo. Just my .02

The instant inflation that asics cause is great for traders but basically bad for people who want to actually get utility for the coins by spending them.

Cryptos will never be mainstream as long as the prices swing all over the place. Everyone asks "bitcoin - when moon?" and the answer is when it really goes mainstream and starts getting a major chunk of the multitrillion dollar banking industry.

That won't happen with excessive volatilty from asics so the coins that shift to be asic proof will get their slice of the pie first. Bitcoin's halving effect will eventually make asics irrelevant to it but most alts still have a lot left to me mined so for them asics have to be dealt with or they will end up in the scrap heap.

Antminer Z9 mini, hence the mini part. Will there be a full Z9 version? As the power consumption is only 300W for the mini version. What if there is a full Z9 version? Can Z9 mini uses other power supply as it only consume 300W.
