To invest in ICO, I think it will be very risky, because ICO is vulnerable to fluctuations. It's hard to invest in ICO, I don't recommend this for you. It's better if you want to invest with BTC or top altcoin because this will provide more definite benefits. Hold for a long time in the ICO is very risky.

They all have their pros and cons but I think the best thing to do is to diversify by putting some money in bitcoin, some in Alt coin and others in ICO. By doing that, your risk is minimized

Depending on the profit you want to earn from the market and your ability. If you want to make a lot of money then join the ICO. But remember to take risks when joining the ICO is also very large. Should be careful before investing.

IIC's investment is very risky because there are so many ico scams we have to do a lot of research before investing, so we should be safe to buy coins on the market or when the coins are first listed on the market

in my opinion you should only invest in bitcoin for new players you better avoid the risk of ico which is very terrible because ico can be good and can also be bad so you better invest in bitcoin.
I agree. ICOs are out of control now. 1000 cryptos were declared dead recently. That’s a lot, so to be on the safe side in this situation (which hopefully won't keep long) we need reliable investments. And that's BTC and top altcoins.

The money now is in top ico that generates a big profit multiplier when it lists to exchanges. Trading is for either long term, short term trades. Lastly, bitcoin is proven for long term holding.

Btc is on the backgrownd of the cryptocurrency market and Icos are going away from my point of view. So investing in Alternative cryptocurrencies will be more suitable.

diversification is important in investing to reduce the risk. Since bitcoin is the safest crypto to invest, i think you should at least fill 50% of your portfolio with bitcoin. To choose which good ICO to invest in is a bit hard as there's ton of new ICO and it really takes a lot of time to read all of their whitepaper. I personally shortlist them by popularity and then read their whitepaper before deciding whether to invest or not.

You should invest in all the three cryptocurrency options available to you! Bitcoin is your first consideration,  after Bitcoin you can also pick some Altcoin and then look for quality ICO to invest in also.

I think buying ico is a project that gets rich quickly and can realize the freedom of wealth. It can quickly get what you want and bring you a better life. But most of the 18 ico projects are scams, and ico must be cautious.

I would say to invest mostly BTC and then also into a few ALTs as well. But pick high liquidity ones. Maybe do a bounty or two.

If he is new then he should look only investing in bitcoins and yes may be some altcoins like ethereum but stay away from the ico's because they are pretty risky...even good looking ico fails so need not to hurry investing in the ICO's

At this moment in time I think you can safely invest in either Bitcoin or Altcoins and as soon as the market turns positive and resumes a Bear phase you should reap some decent profits. ICO are really struggling to hold launch value at the moment so it seems like a great way to lose around 50% of your initial investment, you may be better waiting for those to hit the exchanges and settle down before trying.

For newly members in cryptocurrency investing in ICO's is very risky investment procedure because you learned more and have to gather more information regarding on some ICO promising. I rather to invest you on bitcoin just for a long term cause its a big advantages to all coins in the market making profit.

What I will say is that, If this is first time for you in investing into crypto , then i just recommend you to learn trading by invest to some altcoins first. Every part of invest has its risk, bitcoin has the lowest risk but it for long term investment its the greatest. .

Crypto is in a bear market right now, and I recommend that you only invest in bitcoin for the time being. If the crypto market as a whole is picking up, you can start picking up other altcoins

There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth

You can invest all of these if you want ,but as for me, bitcoin is the best investment because of high potential to gain more profit.

It all depends on your susceptibility to panic attacks) If you want more profit and more nerves - try ICO. Only choose carefully, and not in the first one you everything. And diversify the risks, do not invest everything together. If you want less nerves, but not the fact that a big increase - invest in bitcoin. Alt's in the middle)

The forever advice is bitcoin. Bitcoin has stored value like gold.
In the market volatility, Bitcoin fell the least. The biggest rise.
I think Bitcoin is the most worthwhile investment.
