So I'd like to know what to put in the cgminer because whit this pool http://doge.cryptoculture.net/ it asks me for url, username and password. In the url i put stratum+tcp://doge.cryptoculture.net:22555 which is the port then it asks me for username and password and i write these with which I registered on the pool. However,i cannot connetc to the pool and it says something like setup pool failed ot sth. after about 10 secconds and then the cgminer closes. What do I have to do?

You have to create a worker on the pool, you don't have to put in the miner the data of your account

Mining is still working on doge.netcodepool.org so it is just the site that is down. I'm sure they will get it fixed quickly.

Then you should use worker name and worker pass, not you reg name and pass. In result it may looks like this: minerd -o stratum+tcp://doge.cryptoculture.net:22555 -u worker.name -p workerpass (this for CPU miner, but cgminer is something like this)

For us ( www.dogepool.net) it would be -u YourChosenLoginName.workername -p password you chose while setting up the worker.

Yea my CUDAminer is mining away, dem 70KH/s on that pool, maybe its the jump to 2000 miner count that caused some lag on website UI. The chat sections seems to be just fine though Lol no one thought DOGe coin would do so well

Ok I've made a worker but it says it isn't active. How it turns to be active or is it supposed to be like that or starts to be active when you start mining? And does the version of the cgu matters in this case?

Server is working on backlog, after that we will put the pool invite only again to prevent it a bit. Should not take that long, give us some air here, thank you!

Yes, as soon as you start mining, Worker status will become Active.

all pools getting smashed hard it seems, cryptopool is also randomly disconnecting.
this makes it to at least 3 with issues right now: cryptopool netcodepool testserverino
let's hope everything gets solved soon, many hashrate increase is probably causing the issues.
