Difficulty adjust after the hashrate. It can go down, and infact will go down if the hashrate drops. So don't worry about it.

The port 4093 (old port) stopped working on http://doge.netcodepool.org due to which 2.5Gh/s dropped to 0.5Gh/s in matter of minutes.
So, this is the cause of current drop in total hashrate.

I think he bumped the netcodepool to make people move over some of the hashrate, then he's reactivating the old.  Because I did not change my port and it's now letting me reconnect to the old port, but we need to be wary of the pool hashrate.  Pool OP has it right!  Don't fork the doge!

It's about the coin, the dropping hashrate is creating panic among users which can result instant death of this coin.
The total hash rate will rise in next 15 minutes and yes that would be because of those "spamming pink posts".

I think it's because CoinedUp, which is the only source for the current rate, is extremely unreliable (crashes, slowdowns, etc.).
We need a reliable exchange.

I just created the account (mc1225) and setting up the miner, you site kicked me out and saying no new registration. Interesting ...

New registrations are locked because pool hashrate was getting over 51% which is not supposed to be good.
Just change your port to 4094 if you already have a existing account there, else try any else stable pool

For example: coinedup.com has had a lot of load problems since it added DOGE. There's a lot of DOGE trades!

Therefore: a lot of fees for Cryptsy if it adds Ð!
