Expect DOGE to be at something like 0.0003 BTC for 1K, or 0.0000003 BTC per DOGE to be in line profitability wise with other lucrative alt currencies.

Not at the beginning of course, but in 24/48H it shouldn't be surprising.
Can you tell us why you think so? :-)

Because there cannot be a single coin who's worth mining 10 times any other alt coins.
If it's the case, everyone will switch to DOGE mining (already happened partly seeing the network hashrate), and start to dump everything on cryptsy, lowering its value until it's not especially more profitable than say sexcoin/floricoin/grandcoin or some other usually lucrative alt currency.

That's the law of markets, it just needs time to settle down. But with crytpocurrencies, this time is often very short.

Im having trouble connecting to the Dogecoin network, and have had a lot of trouble trying to solomine.. any tips, Im on a Macbook..

All I wanted was a couple coins, advice or donation welcome.
Thanks

My suggestion is, don't solo mine. The difficulty has really increased a lot and there are large mining pools (which you can join) working on it, so it's very hard to solo mine now.

lol, not trolling - just irritated at how the market always goes in the opposite direction to me, no matter which coin I am currently trading.

I honestly want dogecoin to do well. I have been mining since virtually the very beginning, you know.

coinedup doesnt do any transactions, both sides of auctions are stuck at 83 and 84 satoshis, craptsy seems to someone has set up incredibly high the number of confirmations needed or just "forgot" to implement any script doing that.

In Pump and Dump we trust.

Ive got 2 million sat in pending...3 HOURS since i sent it over! 220 Confirmations...just sat there mocking me. I must have been one of the first to submit, theres no way all these people got in ahead i was straight out the blocks :/
Anyway, im quite liking the starting price actually.
If the mining rate stays where it is along with the difficulty i think come the block reward halving in a month or 2's time could see some very nice price hikes Smiley

At all you guys waiting for DOGE @ Cryptsy. My experience was bad with Cryptsy. They needed 3 days to put 1000 SXC on my account.
I think it will take minimum 2 days after you will see any DOGE on your accounts. I don't know why Cryptsy is doing this. At Coinedup it
takes 5 minutes after sending from wallet to wallet. Why is Crypsty such unprofessional?

MUCH POOP @ Cryptsy!

well mosly because they get like 100k deposits avg and tonight over a mill
anyhow after the coins show up on pending it wont take all to long!

Next thing we need to do is to get rid of the BTC depencency, lets aim for a DOGE/USD exchange! Its the only way forward.
