not cool ... moon is taking hashpower from doge .. at multipool and middlecoin ....

mooncoin is literally a joke

Who gives out the most block rewards for DOGE mining pools?  Is Multipool the best because it is the biggest?  Does another one pay out more than Multipool?

I prefer Dogehouse. They have around 18% of the network and have always been perfect for me. Good payouts and never had an issue with downtime.

Can you explain to me what effect block halving will have?? I'm new to this - can you tell?  Roll Eyes

Well the assumption is that since the block reward will go down, less coins will be mined and that should result in a price increase. That isn't always the case though.

Surely this only works if there is a steady stream of sales from the miners. What would happen if every coin mined from now on was just held...

Is there a way or have you compared the two?  Multi-pool went down this morning on me when everyone started to hyperventilating about the price and it was a pain to get back in.  But I am wondering if Doghouse, or another lets say, gives out more rewards.

Multipool often has high reject rate. I don't know what you mean with rewards, but I get pretty consistent payouts at dogehouse.

The infrastructure of this community is very interesting, although I do not understand all the  Shibe reference etc etc,

but solely on a observation basis,..... correct me if I am wrong, the ethos of the community is to tip or reward any deserving online party

with Dogecoin, therefore aiding the recipient with doge, and giving credibility to the coin enhancing its value, very clever. :-)

Good luck with your endeavors  Cool

So I was looking at the list of richest doge addresses ( http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-dogecoin-addresses.html ), and came across these two odd ones:

#1 http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DU4wp32x4kvHHqnhPXJ1LnzsS48LedJvbi

Note that it's just sending 1 M doge in and out all the time - it looks kind of like a script, but it makes me wonder if it's a bad one, since the total amount of Doge seems to be going down over time.

#3 http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DDTtqnuZ5kfRT5qh2c7sNtqrJmV3iXYdGG

It's just receiving 10 M doge constantly. And that's it, no withdrawals. The only thing that varies is the time intervals. It kind of scares me to know that so much money is tied up into these accounts, and what would happen to the exchange rate if they decided it was time to cash out.

I would not concern yourself to much with that amount, I have made several such transaction in the last 24 hrs, it is a nominal

Hey a friend sent 50k coins to cryptsy with the old version, probably while he was on the fork. Tx id: 49c608888fea404a4d969c57bcd6199933d1bf489419db0c9151febb468b94e9
Not seen on dogechain.info... Any chance he can get the coins back? He already tried -rescan and -salvagewallet.
Thx in advance.

I think these two could be the exchange wallets  Grin

I prefer Dogehouse. They have around 18% of the network and have always been perfect for me. Good payouts and never had an issue with downtime.

I like Dogehouse too, but when the hash rate spikes, the web interface goes down until the PPLNS shares are fully calculated and you'll have to wait quite a bit until it's finished before you'll get your coins (even with auto-payout set). For the sake of current dogehouse users, I recommend trying somewhere else Tongue.

I have nothing bad to say about Multipool.  They went down this morning on me for the first time in weeks. Going through all the threads I see more people complain about Doghouse though.  Multipool is back mining DOGE again and dropped that accursed MOON now.

Nothing would happen in the long run - because they are not the 100% owners of the doges... yes- it could fall for a while, but in the long run - they would sell - everyone else would buy them out and in a short time - we are back on track - TO THE MOON
