It's the cold hard fact.

Myself, i haven't even invested 1 satoshi in doge. But none the less, watching Doge in this market bubble is interesting

If you get really really lucky, it may top 100 satoshi before the big 10 billion dump.

Haterz gonna hate Smiley I can bet that you're saiyng this just because you've missed the opportunity to jump on the train and now you're shitting your pants because you are afraid that it's already too late. Let me tell you something you already know - better later than never. You don't have to hate but if you really do - just don't read the thread and go somewhere else. Come back when you calm down Smiley I am saying that now only because I've invested in Doge, it's because I believe in Doge as a currency more than any other. Look at this great success, Dogecoin community is friendly, sharing, we have already gathered more than 3 500 000 as a fund for Jamaican boblseigh team, we have reimbursed what other fellow shibes lost due to robbery, we keep giving money away to new people who wants to join cryptocurrency world...

Thanks to dogecoin community people will hear about cryptocurrencies more than ever and this also means a lot of karma for other coins. This is first really spendable currency (unlike Bitcoin which is investment) and Dogecoin no matter what it's value is will be always the first TRUE decentralized CURRENCY in this world. Period.

+100

Great speech, my fellow Shibe!

How exactly did he hate? The cold hard truth is that a dump will happen, we just don't know when. If you zoom in on a graph that seem to have been growing steadily you will see a lot of ups and downs. The thing is there are speculators involved, not just people who love the power of shibe.

And how can you say that DOGE is more spendable than BTC? I can buy more goods with BTC today than I can with DOGE. I really like DOGE, but keep it real at least.

Sorry bro but you don't know if the drop will happen. If it will, then it means that you were simply lucky because you had 50% chance to guess (will happen or will not) Smiley It may also not happen, or it may be a small drop or a big drop or whatever. It's not bad saying that the drop will happen, simply saying that Doge is stupid joke, not worth anything etc is not true. Doge is the same as any other crypto...it's simply crypto...

And yes, Doge is and will be more spendable than BTC because BTC with 21 milion coins for the whole world is simply not too much to be a currency. The only thing which can help is introducing new standards for mBTC, satoshi etc. Doge is more like a real money, you can have thousands of it, it will be mined fairly quickly so the price should stabilize as well. Keep it real, people buy BTC not to spend...just hold and earn money. People who hold Doge are doing this to tip someone or buy something online and enjoy crypto as a currency. This may change in the future but for now - that's the way it is. Show me one bitcoin thread where people are tipping each other for nothing Smiley

Also please don't compare Doge to BTC too much, Doge is a little bit more than a month old, BTC is here with us for 5 years now...now let's talk about it in a 5 years time...

Still surprised on this coin being so successful knowing that:
  • Its block chain explorer does not work
  • Its wallet cannot be encrypted in windows 7

Unsafest cryptocoin ever.

Ha ha ha, you are funny. Blockchain explorer works.
And wallet encryption works too. Didnt you see version 1.4.1? https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/tag/v1.4.1

Well my sell order is @ 188 satoshi and it will hit that in a month or less the amount of trades on dogeroad is amazing
The demand for doge is just gonna go crazy high because of that alone.

It will drop because that is how the free market works. Nothing you or I say can change that fact. Time will show us this(as it has with every crypto before it, incl. BTC)

Those satoshis you are talking about was implemented when BTC was launched. The BTC protocol also allows for 16 decimals the future. Number of issued units does not decide how much goods you can buy, that is decided buy how much goods you can buy.. I'm not sure you quite understand how it works. It will might be more spendable, but it is not more spendable ATM.. People don't tip BTC because it is worth so much and rising. Look at BTC threads two months after it's launch, lots and lots of tipping and free coins. Your anecdotes are way off target man.

You need to look at what you are writing here. You compare a two month old currency(doge) to a five year old currency(BTC) and at the same time you tell me not to compare them? Stop cherry-picking bro, you make no sense Smiley Again, I love DOGE, but let's keep it real!

He's right, Blockchain explorer does NOT work.

I came in here last night feeling sick because 250,000 Dogecoins went missing in a transfer between Cryptsy and Doge-dice.

But when I look in my client I can see the transaction:

Blockchain explorer, however, shows that NOTHING has happened in DJEWN1ZpK9iYoBcwc2wptbjZ8w5upQ7SgK
in fact, Blockchain explorer says that TrxID: 47e649a58b79554cbf26e033e0a7ff1f58b986c4e787ee13d361db8ed476dbdb doesn't even exist.

So yes, the Blockchain DOES NOT WORK.  And it's not Crypsty's fault like some of you had me believe.  The transaction shows up on the chain, but at the same time does not exist.  Somehow these coins are being stolen, and that is whats going to make the value of this coin CRUMBLE in the coming months.

You need to look at what you are writing here. You compare a two month old currency(doge) to a five year old currency(BTC) and at the same time you tell me not to compare them? Stop cherry-picking bro, you make no sense Smiley Again, I love DOGE, but let's keep it real!

I compared it in general, not currently, BTC is an investment, Doge is more like a currency. Bitcoin has investors, Doge has community. Sure it can change but let's hope that Doge will remain what it is now Smiley

Still surprised on this coin being so successful knowing that:
  • Its block chain explorer does not work
  • Its wallet cannot be encrypted in windows 7

Unsafest cryptocoin ever.

Ha ha ha, you are funny. Blockchain explorer works.
And wallet encryption works too. Didnt you see version 1.4.1? https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/tag/v1.4.1

UNSAFEST COIN EVER MADE.

Easy, shibe, easy.
Calm down.

I can see your transaction in blockchain explorer.  Wink
Maybe explorer doesnt works well now, but it works.
I was only responding to that troll, that he is wrong.

Maybe try to send some DOGE to bobsled http://foundation.dogecoin.com/donate and your day will be much more sunny.  Wink
